No obvious conclusion, either. Agree he really deserves credit. If Kincaid can continue contributing, we just need one more player to step up. Diggs is the obvious candidate.

I'm happy with Ty Johnson and Shakir. Davis feels like baggage at this point.

Did Davis even have a single catch today?

Even without Elam turning into a starter yet (and I'm not convinced he will never be a good starter) the Cook and Bernard picks in rounds 2 and 3 are making the 2022 draft a success. That's not even counting Shakir and Benford who were taken in the 5th and 6th, respectively. (And Araiza was taken also in the 6th and him not playing is not due to football issues).

That draft is looking like an A grade even with Elam not starting, Amazing. If Elam ever starts, that's an A+ draft for sure.

I think this is the third game in a row that Davis hasn't had a catch, isn't that right? For a WR2, that's not good.

Kudo's to James Cook for a great game, also to the O-line who were blowing open holes, and to Brady for the willingness to stick with what was working!   The significance of this heightened threat for opposing defenses is huge.

I mentioned this in another thread but it needs to be posted here too:

As of earlier this season there were fans here roasting the Bills for taking Kaiir Elam at 23... especially in the context of the Jets taking Breece Hall at 36.

In that same 2022 draft the Bills took James Cook at 63.

Just…for the love of god stop wasting time with Murray. Cook is the best player on this offense after Allen. He’s our (prime) Kamara. Guy should be getting 30 touches a game.

As great as Cook has been playing, I still believe Murray brings a lot to the table, in a completely different way than Cook.

Maybe an honorable mention for Brady too, eh?

All purpose yds in NFL this season:

1. Christian McCaffrey

2. Tyreek Hill

3. JAMES COOK

And: 1st in the AFC (and 2nd in the NFL, to McCaffrey) in rushing yards.

He's only getting better, keep him involved in the passing game.

He rarely seems to take hard hits, his balance and vision are excellent. That's what makes Kamara so special, although AK also has great size.
