This doesn’t make any sense mathematically.

Matchup of 8-7 teams don’t matter. Either way, there will be a 7 win team.

If Colts win today, they likely get a wildcard spot. Their schedule is easy. And Browns too.

That leaves 1 spot for several teams to fight over.

The Colts never have an “easy” game. They can lose vs anyone in the league.

Do you honestly think Josh would've played exactly the same against those same teams if Brady had been this seasons OC?  It was 100% Sean's decision to ignore players like Diggs (and their complaints) and stick with Dorsey.

that's irrelevant. you can't change the past. it wasn't dorsey throwing those interceptions that were game changers. the only thing you can do rather than looking back is look ahead and hope, as it has (the change to brady) already shown, that brady running the offense is what has helped win them some games as long as JA avoids the turnovers and hope they can win 4 more? regardless of when coach made the decision, it was made and proved to be the right decision. had he not done it, then you would have to believe he would be relieved of his HC duties at the end of the season, extension or no extension ?

Not really the thread for this conversation - but yeah, it kinda was Dorsey throwing those picks.

When an OC doesn’t make a QB comfortable… When an OC doesn’t give him easy reads… When an OC doesn’t slow the game down for the QB… it makes throwing picks super easy.

Thank you...that's all I was trying to explain...and yes it's all relevant yet we obviously can't turn back the clock.  We are desperately hoping these games today go in our favor because we butchered 3 games we should've won. And probably could've won with different offensive leadership.

We would want Denver to win so they can beat the Chiefs for the divisional crown. We then have the tiebreaker over the Chiefs, not the Broncos.

That'd be unrealistically hilarious, and also raise a possible amusing possibility of Nick Wright rooting for the Bills to beat the Dolphins in week 18 to help the Chiefs get in via wild card.
