Before this weekend's games which includes three pivotal Saturday games, give me your 7 playoff teams in the AFC and their seedings.

Here is what I came up with using the ESPN Playoff Machine

1. Ravens 13-4 ( Finish 3-1 Beat Jags, Dolphins, Steelers. Lose to the 49ers)

2. Chiefs 11-6 (Finish 3-1 Beat Patriots, Raiders, Chargers. Lose to the Bengals)

3. Jaguars 11-6 (Finish 3-1 Beat the Bucs, Panthers, Titans. Lose to the Ravens)

4. Bills 10-7 (Finish 3-1 Beat the Chargers, Patriots, Dolphins. Lose to the Cowboys)

5. Broncos 11-6 (Finish 4-0 Beat Lions, Patriots, Raiders, Chargers)

6. Bengals 11-6 (Finish 4-0 Beat Vikings, Steelers, Chiefs, Browns)

7. Browns 10-7 (Finish 2-2 Beat the Bears, Jets. Lose to the Texans and Bengals)

Missing Out

Colts 9-8 (Finish 2-2. Lose to the Steelers and Texans. Beat the Raiders and Falcons)

Steelers 8-9 (Finish 1-3. Lose to the Benglas, Seahawks, Ravens. Beat the Colts)

Texans 10-7 (Finish 3-1. Lose to the Titans (Road). Beat the Browns, Titans (Home), Colts)

Dolphins 10-7 (Finish 1-3. Lose to the Ravens, Cowboys, Bills. Beat the Jets)

Initial thoughts.

1. Seems unlikely both the Bengals and Broncos will win out. I do think the Broncos have a good shot of winning out. For the Bengals, probably more realistic to have them finish 3-1 with a loss to the Chiefs or even 2-2 with losses to the Chiefs and Browns. In either scenario if I plug those results in and leave everything else the same Miami takes the 7th seed and the Bengals miss the playoffs.

2. If I leave everything the same but have the Bills beat the Cowboys but lose to the Dolphins, then the Bills miss the playoffs.

I can take that. In your scenario, there would be two WC rematches: Broncos at Bills and Bengals at Jaguars.

Looks good but don't think lions are losing and hopefully raiders stay hot and in the race for a bit. Bengals could also easily go 2-2

I think the Chiefs win out because of their soft schedule/defense and the Jaguars surprisingly beat the Ravens this Sunday night at home.  I see Jacksonville blowing it against the Titans because they're so darn inconsistent (like us).  Bengals, Steelers, Colts, and Texans falter down the stretch,

I'll go...

1.) Chiefs

2.) Ravens

3.) Jaguars

4.)  Bills

5.)  Browns (I see them winning  3 of 4)

6.)  Broncos

7.)  Dolphins

Playoff machine gave me this

ravens

chiefs

jags

bills

Browns

dolphins

broncos

picked gsmes as I thought they would win.  I keep seeing how everyone saying we wouldn’t get in in most scenarios with bills losing this week but whatever I digress - I don’t want to debate.  Just gonna take it one game at a time

Go Bills

Watching last night gave me hope that maybe the raiders at home against the broncos we could get help

Just so close this year it can go a million ways.  My choices were covered above.  I'll pick two teams I don't want to face in the Playoffs.  Bengals and Jags.  They just seem to matchup poorly with those two teams and those teams seem to have our number.

This was based on if we lost the division and had to fight for a wildcard.  Obviously Miami opened that back up by losing to the Titans and gives us a better chance to win it.

Thank you for the effort, Sammy, and I think there is a lot of good stuff in the above.

Let's all be clear, though, on how razor thin this is, because I believe if only one game in the Dolphins schedule is different, let's say they upset the Ravens, then the Bills go from division champion to all the way out of the playoffs.

We need to stack wins, and we need pretty much all of them, just in case.

Given who the Chiefs have shown themselves to be over the course of the first 14 weeks of the season, I think it is reasonable to expect the Chiefs to finish 3-1 down the stretch. They have not shown themselves to be a 4-0 quality team of late.

On the flipside, I don't love that I have both the Broncos and Bengals finishing 4-0. It is certainly possible each could finish 3-1. Broncos could lose to Detroit this week and Bengals could lose to the Chiefs. I believe such a scenario keeps the Broncos in the playoffs but swaps out the Bengals for the Dolphins.

Not having faith that the Chiefs can finish 4-0 I had to give them a loss somewhere. Bengals seemed most likely. But this week against the Pats on the road is a sneaky spot as well.

I’d love to get the jags again…if we didn’t lose most of our starting defense in that game I think that would’ve been a relatively easy win but you never know 😂

Yeah true. We can beat them for sure.  Just weird that they have had our number both times in London.

Can you imagine if the Dolphins missed the playoffs after being in 2nd place with 4 weeks to go?.  That would be amazing

I was thinking this when I read the OP.  I don't see Detroit losing to Denver at home after getting embarrassed by Chicago last week.  Doesn't really change things a lot, other than I don't see Denver going 4-0 down the stretch.

Love the playoff machine!

I got:

1. KC

2. Jacksonville

3. Baltimore

4. Buffalo

5. Houston

6.Cleveland

7. Miami

Can't remember which games I may have picked as upsets, etc. I must have picked the Texans to win out, and based on their schedule and QB I think it's possible. But I do think those are the 7 best teams in the AFC this year, with the possible exception of Cleveland. Indy, Denver, and Pittsburgh are not for real to me, and Cincy can't do it without Burrow.
