Miyagi-Do Karate Posted December 15, 2023 Posted December 15, 2023 Does anyone know if you need just peacock or peacock premium to watch the game? Quote

Just the basic tier, which is, ironically, called "Peacock Premium". The "Premium Plus" is the higher tier which is ad free and allows you to get your local NBC channel. https://www.peacocktv.com/#ib-section-section-13 1 Quote

Unless you live in Buffalo or LA, where the game will be televised locally, I doubt too many bars have a Peacock subscription. 3 hours ago, PromoTheRobot said: Premium sadly There is nothing below premium. The days of free Peacock content are long gone. 1 Quote

Bars pretty much have to have Peacock. One of the wild card games will be exclusively on Peacock. Patrons will complain en masse if that isn't shown. It's also free if you have Xfinity or Spectrum. WhoTom Posted December 15, 2023 Posted December 15, 2023 NFL Plus shows live primetime games (MNF, etc.). I'm hoping this one is included in that. Quote

No one knows at present. The likely word is no, since the NFL wants to incentivize Peacock subscriptions. We'll know more Wednesday. See my updated answer below. chongli Posted December 15, 2023 Author Posted December 15, 2023 With the way there Chargers just played, there will less incentive for the nation to purchase a Peacock subscription. That being said, there might be increased curiosity though with Chargers' new head coach and to see if the team rallies around him. Regardless, most people not in Buffalo or LA will need a subscription (free or otherwise) to see the WC game. Better to get it before Saturday to see both games in one month before they cancel. Unless they go to a sports bar. Quote
