The league sent a memo to teams last week that there will be no projections of the 2024 salary cap until early January,. The league cited “open matters” that the NFL and NFL Players Association still are addressing and trying to resolve. The memo went on to clarify that as soon as both sides are in agreement, details on the new salary cap will be shared. 

 

Typically, teams are informed about a season’s salary cap the year before at the NFL winter meeting. That same meeting is set to happen this week in Dallas.

No doubt there will be whispered projections.  The Bills need for there to be a healthy jump.

There definitely will be a healthy jump with the new TV contracts kicking in next year...likely a healthier jump than most predicted.
