Bills would have been down 4 with 1:12 and three timeouts.   That's enough to run an 8 play drive.  Not impossible for Josh at all.

Funny. I saw that in fast motion and thought immediately that someone jumped! Looked for the flag.

Von is a huuuuuuge $$$$$ black hole. Not a chance, he is ever coming back to form. I hope I'm dead wrong as Josh & he life the Lombardi in February, but I strongly doubt I will be.

Nope. That frame is after the ball is snapped and the blue line is not official.

Excellent. Serious question here. I don’t know.
As opposed to Toney lined up physically with the toe offside, can a Defensive player’s hand be over the line in the air without touching an opponent and still be onside?

Uh huh, right. They had put up only two FGs in the 2nd half. But you think all of a sudden they were going to march down the field for a TD. OK. LOL

So what?  That is irrelevant.

Imagine being a clown that has a 1st ballot HOF QB on your team that has led countless drives to come back and take the lead under 2 minutes, including multiple times in Arrowhead over the last few years and being "afraid" he couldn't do it.

Honestly, there are people here that make me want to put a bag over my head so I don't have to be associated with them.

No matter how much teams win in WNY, there are still fans that will always have a perpetual loser mentality.

No. The neutral zone is off limits to any/all parts of a player's body. But in this case, as the guy on X so perfectly illustrated, VM was not in the neutral zone. And as he said, the blue line shown in the video is not even accurate, AND the camera angle is NOT straight down the line either.

He wasn't Offside.  The ball was a good 1/2 to 3/4 of a yard behind the blue line.  The blue line is where he could have snapped it from if he wanted to (line judge was straddling the blue line), but humphrey snapped from a decent amount behind the line and von timed it.

I was actually hoping for that...Allen is exceptional in those situations

Romo sure was ready to have a big party with that play as if he were calling the US Olympic Hockey victory vs. USSR.  Even after the penalty was known, he kept gushing.

It felt all the way Billsy til then, and a depth of nausea that only Bills fans truly understand.

I believe BOTH Romo & Nance are quiet cheerleaders for the Bills. They say plenty of positive things during the games, even referring to the horrific change of fortune breaks- even penalties that change the outcome of games.

But, if you aren’t jumping out of your chair on that called back TD play, you’re already dead! It was incredible. And if it counted, Romo would have come back cheerleading after the commercial break: “Now, let’s see how Josh answers that one. He’s got 1:11 todo it,”

Von flashed a few times, at least 3 or 4, he is coming around.  Why people don't understand this is actually normal for players coming back off ACL tears I don't get. How many times do you have to see players needing a year and half a season to look anything like their former self at all?  I mean we just saw the same thing with Tre White last year and multiple other players but yet people still act like they are just going to be back to their normal self immediately? Why?

IMO, he is right around where he should be at this point in his recovery.  Fans having ridiculous expectations is not really his problem.

Anything is *possible*, for sure, but based on the way the offense was moving the ball in the 2nd half, it just wasn't likely. If it was as easy as you think, then surely the Bills would have punched it in for a TD on their last drive, to go ahead by 7.....but they didn’t/couldn’t.

No one is "afraid" to let JA try to get the TD, and no one said that, so I'm really perplexed as to why you put that word in quotation marks, but whatever...hope you have a good week, and Go Bills!

When that play happened i wasn't too worried as i saw the yellow right from the get go. Didn't see our guys jump so it must have been the Chiefs.

Quite possible some players thought the same in the moment and played differently thus allowing the TD. That happens pretty often. Not that it should...play to the whistle and all...but it happens.

I wonder if that was a set play, or an ad-lib from Kelce??

Thankfully it was called back.

That play was a dagger in my Bills heart until it wasn't.

HOLY COW

The bitterness and tears I'm reading from Reid and Mahomees are from their view a legitiment beef. But  by the light of day it reads like WHINING

Booooooo Freakin Hoooooooooooo~~~~~~~~~

I mentioned this in another thread. Why is the KC line not on the line. Look at the guy opposite Von he's lined up 2 yards off the ball. The center is the only player on the line. This is a penalty and they do it every play.

So 2 weeks ago we were going to score with 20 seconds left and 1 timeout.  Pretty much guaranteed the way people talk around here.  Now this week, Josh would have had 1:10 and 3 timeouts left, but Toney saved us?  Screw that.  Josh would have won it regardless.

I’m not sure it would’ve been truly “billsy.” Bills predictably settled for the FG and Mahomes predictably threw the go-ahead TD. It played out the way everyone expected…minus the Bills actually getting the calls/breaks at the end. Aka they got beat by superior players making an incredible play. That isn’t “billsy.”

Now, Toney lining up off-sides to negate the TD was absolutely a “billsy” equivalent for the Chiefs.
