harmonkillebrew Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 He was nonexistent today. He dropped at least two screens. Sheffield was in for him again multiple times on key downs. What is going with him and the WR corps more generally?? Was it scheme or is he experiencing a major drop off? Gabe also put up another donut. Josh was struggling all game to find anyone to throw it to. 3 3 3 1 3 4 1 2 4 Quote
May Day 10 Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 I think it was more the chiefs defense and they got in his head a bit 3 Quote
NoSaint Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 Diggs is fine. You don’t dominate every week for your whole career. davis is a trainwreck for this offense currently. Even if he flashed open on a play. 4 1 11 Quote
BBFL Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 I got lynched for saying weeks ago that he looks a little checked out and not 100% in it. Always seems bothered by not being targeted but then proceeds to do very little or nothing with the targets he’s seeing. Secondly, someone said it best in the GDT; how does Stefon get a pass for drops but Davis and the rest of the gang get burned at the stake?! 6 2 7 1 Quote

Another Fan Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 That did annoy me a bit him seeming to laugh it up a bit with that one Chief player in the 4th quarter under that pass/completion review. 2 1 Quote
billsfan_34 Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 I don’t know but he stunk today. 1 1 Quote
Freak-O Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 That late drop could have been disastrous. I’m sure he’ll be back though. Quote
RobbRiddick Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 He's been too busy reading Dunne's 300 page report about McD to do any film work or practice 8 Quote
Perry Turtle Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 I don't know if he's done, but they need to toss those WR Screens to him out of the playbook. Diggs is an elite route runner. He's not a speed guy. Stop wasting him and downs on those stupid play calls. 15 13 1 6 Quote
0017 Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 Hopefully he turns it around and starts catching 6 yard screen passes 😏 because damn we need him!!! 1 Quote

Most would say Davis has been awful the last 4 games, so let me know which one is more awful. Edited December 11, 2023 by Mikie2times 1 Quote
MasterStrategist Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 We have a big hole at Wr2, simple as that. Doesn't take a defensive genius to realize that Gabse isn't winning 1-1 consistently. So you double/bracket Diggs on most downs, then focus on Kincaid. That means we need Cook and running game to be successful. For better long term success, we'd have Shakir or Harty be a consistent threat from the slot. That's been spotty, both guys have moments and I'm convinced we're wasting Harty (he is a talented player). But we need a Wr2, next year's draft is ripe for Wrs in first two rounds that can step in and be our #2. 1 1 2 Quote
Jerome007 Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 Joe Brady has been great as OC... except for getting WRs open. He needs to scheme Diggs open. 1 1 Quote
MPL Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 Do you guys not remember Diggs' stat lines against the Chiefs in the 2020 AFC Championship and 2021 Divisional Round? Quote

Gabe was wide open for a TD but Josh was under pressure and didn't see him and instead threw high for Kincaid near the sideline right before the FG. Diggs wants to win first and foremost. He is fine I am sure. 4 4 Quote
ganesh Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 Diggs has been trying hard to prove himself against the Chiefs and today was no different. He needs to let the game come to him 1 Quote
GoBills! Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 I would complain about our WR core but Diggs, Cook and Kincaid is better than Kelce, Rice and Toney or CEH lol 1 Quote
