Everything changes in the playoffs. Teams and players play harder than they do in the regular season. We did not beat them with Hill when it mattered the most. That’s just a fact. When the two best teams in the league face each other, one of them has to lose. Sometimes it doesn’t always go your way. Just because we haven’t doesn’t mean we can’t. It just means we haven’t yet. it took 3 blunders in a row for the chiefs to beat us. That isn’t because they had Hill Edited December 11, 2023 by Scott7975 Quote

Until we beat them in the playoffs, they own us. Beating them in the regular season doesn’t matter if we can’t beat them in the playoffs. When we lost to them in the playoffs they had two #1 receivers. I don’t care that Travis Kelce plays tight end. 1 Quote

billieve420 Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 Can't field all stars at every position. KC focused on their O-line and defense believing they could get away with Mahomes making average players look good. They won the SuperBowl last year without a #1 receiver so don't see how not having one this year is so much worse with essentially the same group of players. Quote

The Bills are going to blow this opportunity with a down Chiefs team, no Burrow, JAX not ready for next step (as of now), and Baltimore being a top seed. Maybe not…playoff odds pretty much doubled today to be fair though we have beaten the chiefs each of the last three regular seasons and that’s not the game that counts 1 Quote

Even if you want to label Kelce a WR despite him not getting the same route/snap % as Diggs. So that means they have Kelce and we have Diggs. That means they don’t have 2 #WRs this year. So we should be able to beat them in the playoffs if we get there right? No more excuses? 2 Quote

I’m not sure I’ve been making excuses? Someone wins and someone loses. They’re both good football teams, the best in the league pretty much since Mahomes and Allen took over. I’d like the Bills to win and continue to win. Quote

How much laughing at the Bills misfortune do you think there was in the film room this past week at Arrowhead? True but this is the problem with NFL. There are terrible calls every week that go against teams. Sometimes it evens out, and sometimes it doesn't. For the team who gets screwed, they complain. But for the team who benefits from a bogus call, they keep their mouths shut. They are thinking "we have had so many bogus calls go against us, it's about time we got a lucky break." Not saying that's the case this week. Dude was clearly offside and it was the right call. But, last week, there was an egregious NO CALL against the Packers that cost KC the game. Not only that, but there have been multiple games this year that were decided not by the players, but by the officials and their terrible calls. I agree with the spirit of what Mahomes is saying, even if it's not applicable to this case. The bottom line is that the NFL officiating is a total disaster and needs to be overhauled and reimagined from the ground up. It's disgraceful. 2 1 Quote
