I’m almost entirely certain that clock was running when the timeout was called but I’ll watch it again…it was the first and 25 quick slant to the middle of the field the play before 

 

the third timeout was a forced injury timeout.  Second timeout absolutely preserved time for the offense

Nah. There is something wrong with Bass this year.  I been saying it all season.  He doesnt have the leg.  He cant even kick it in the endzone on a kickoff anymore.

I know we are winning, but the last two minutes is yet another McDermott, mismangement special.   Any other playoff contender manages at least three there.

Allen burned the 1st one, McD called the 2nd to preserve time, and the 3rd was when Hyde got hurt.  If McD doesn't call the 2nd timeout we might not have had much time at all.

 

I get the McD hate but this is a lazy take.

The last 5 minutes of the half are EXACTLY why this team is 6-6.  Idiotic INT that results in a KC TD. After that the whole goal was to get a FG before half and then the play calling goes off the rails and they come away with nothing!

62 yards would be Bass's career long by 4 yards and they have been reluctant to try kicks over 50 with him recently. There was no way that run was ever getting them close enough.

It wasn’t that bad guys. It was a good half against the Chiefs. The interception hurt us but we can overcome it. 
 

People are too tough on McDermott. All bad things put on him. All good things put on others.
