Lost in this years tumult is the fact Kincaid is on pace to set both the season standard for both receptions and yards by a Bills tight end.   I understand the Bills dont have a lengthy history of great tight ends, but I think its a pretty big accomplishment given he is playing on a team that already has a "pro-bowl" tight end on the roster.    To be honest I was a little blown away when I saw his season was on pace to set the standard for receptions and yards by a Bills Tight End, despite his talent, I feel like his ceiling is a long ways off.   Let's hope its only up from here.  I hope the kid ends up reaching both standards and sets the bar nice and high from Bills tight ends from today forward.

Considering how they weren't using/targeting him nearly enough early in the season I'd say whatever he does this year he should be able to top especially with a full non rookie offseason.

We have a history of great TE’s?? Pete Metzelaars was good. Who else?

Think you missed the “don’t”. Though Jay Remiersma might have something to say.

Re-read what I wrote.  "I understand the Bills dont have a lengthy history of great tight ends:"

Haven't had many and are rarely able to guard them. It's like the organization historically doesn't know they exist.

Jay Remiersma was clutch. I don't remember if my nostalgia is clouding my judgement, but I always felt he was super underrated, and would've thrived with a better overall offense.

Actually, you're underscoring how significant Kincaid's Bills history chase actually is.

Not only is he close to breaking the All Time rookie TE team record in both catches and yards...he's closing in on the all time Buffalo Bills rookie record for receptions in a rookie year. Currently Sammy Watkins holds that with 65 (on 128 targets😂). If healthy he should break that very soon, and that with missing a game and not really being a factor early on. Kid is a special talent

The scary thing is they barely used him in the beginning of the season and now they aren’t using him enough. He should get 10 targets a game.

I'd like to see them get him vertical more often, he's won downfield often enough when they do so.
