BringBackFergy Posted November 30, 2023 Posted November 30, 2023 Wow. Shocker. Guy has coached the winningest team since Marv. Yeah…let’s get rid of him. Demanding perfection from entertainment is comical. Instant gratification at its best. 3 1 3 Quote

Warcodered Posted November 30, 2023 Posted November 30, 2023 (edited) I do see the reasoning, with the way the offense has turned around with the OC change, the injuries to key players on defense. But at the same time his decision making and along with decisions on when the offense should switch to burning clock and that god awful prevent defense that never does *****, it's wearing pretty ***** thin. This year we just have a record that makes it obvious. Edited November 30, 2023 by Warcodered 1 1 Quote
Straight Hucklebuck Posted November 30, 2023 Posted November 30, 2023 Then Beane's drafting is the only lever the Bills have to get better. He's a C+/B- level drafter. 1 2 1 1 Quote
Negan Posted November 30, 2023 Posted November 30, 2023 Alright time to get the Fire McDermott billboard up. Who's starting the go fund me? 1 1 Quote

When games are close and coaching matters that much more, is where he is very weak. 4 Quote

If Chan Gailey had Josh Allen we'd be saying the same thing about him. The QB that one inherits plays such a huge role in a coaches "success" Edited November 30, 2023 by HumbleAndHungry 3 1 Quote
Billsfan1972 Posted November 30, 2023 Posted November 30, 2023 Bet two bad losses vs. KC and Dallas and boos in the stadium changes that. Not that I want that. 2 Quote
Fleezoid Posted November 30, 2023 Posted November 30, 2023 Let the head-hunting for leaks at One Bills Drive begin. Or maybe Terry ordered the leaks to quiet all the McDermott talk. Quote
JohnNord Posted November 30, 2023 Posted November 30, 2023 Shouldn’t this thread be moved into the one about talking heads? 😂😂😂 2 Quote
LabattBlue Posted November 30, 2023 Posted November 30, 2023 The ONLY way McD is not the HC come next September is if Allen goes to Pegula after the season, and lays down the ultimatum…. him or ME! 2 1 Quote
Process Posted November 30, 2023 Posted November 30, 2023 Depressing, honestly. But not surprising. 1 Quote
Charles Romes Posted November 30, 2023 Posted November 30, 2023 When the dusts settles and everyone calms down about the D collapsing in the fourth all season long, they will see that $40M plus of the D was not even on the field most of the year and give McD and Beane a pass. 1 1 Quote
NewEra Posted November 30, 2023 Posted November 30, 2023 Sadly, I believe this will be the case. Hopefully he can at least earn the right by leading this team to the playoffs. Quote

Andy Reid had more success with the Eagles than McDermott has had with the Bills, yet they moved on from him. He is not a bad coach as he did break the playoff less streak, but it is fair to question if he can win a Super Bowl. I appreciate the division titles and playoff appearances (probably not this year) but these playoff disappointments have gotten old. 3 1 Quote
TheyCallMeAndy Posted November 30, 2023 Posted November 30, 2023 I don’t believe any “leaked” report because this organization is tight lipped, but I stand by saying this is a bad summer to need a HC. I highly doubt he’s fired barring a 6-8 win season. I can believe that Pegs 100% doesn’t want to fire him though. Quote
