I take domestic violence very seriously and if true this is unacceptable and disgusting behavior, especially towards a pregnant women. Having said that, if true, does this provide us with an escape from Vons contract ?

Bills found a way to lise the bye week.

Don’t you mean win? He’s been as useless as possible and costing us playing time from good players like AJ and Floyd. It’s a sign things might be moving on up

If Von Miller violates the the terms of his contract, the Bills owe nothing

I’m skeptical of this.  As a general rule of thumb for this team, whatever the worst-case scenario is as far as cap hit going forward, is what will play out.

Not saying he is guilty and not saying this directly about Von, but it's a really solid reminder that the players you see in front of the camera talking in pressers and interacting with fans and so forth are often a result of presenting the right image. I would go as far to say there is a shockingly large percentage of players, coaches and even owners that are scumbag human beings when no one is looking.

Um….. I’m a believer that many of these guys would be in prison if they couldn’t run from the cops so fast.

I feel like situations like this involving high profile athletes often end in a settlement (public or under the table) and nothing actually happens. Or nothing ever happened. But I would have some doubts that this gets to a point where a voidable contract is even possible.

And if any of it is true, this is disgusting. Anything involving women, especially a pregnant woman, is up there for as bad as it gets in my opinion.

That would only save Pegula money. The Bills are still on the hook for a mountain of dead cap.

Maybe saving that money will soften the blow and allow Pegula to more easily continue to pay McDermott after firing his a$$.

Nope, that what a contract is, break the terms and it is void. Not saying there wouldn't be a legal battle

If this ends up all being true, my first hope is Von retires from football.  That will be an out for some of the cap.

I doubt there is another stipulation in the contract that would give them a break but will have to see.

Von's initial contract wasn't that bad with an out after 3 years, but the restructures made it worse.

This should be a lesson to those who feel "restructuring" every large contract has no risk to it.  You can add Tre White's contract

to this too.  I know you have to use it at times but it's not a panacea.
