chongli Posted November 29, 2023 Author Posted November 29, 2023 (edited) Alos, disappointed Washington makes an announcement congratulating London, but not Buffalo (or the Rams). [But maybe this is a good thing, since it shows the Bills are too upset about how the season has gone to tend to such matters??] Edited November 29, 2023 by chongli 1 1 Quote
Freddie's Dead Posted November 29, 2023 Posted November 29, 2023 (edited) But all those tackles were 8 yards down field..... Still can't believe we let a HOF-caliber LB go in his prime. Hope you get in London, you deserve it. BTW, Fitz was never quite the same after London racked him up in Toronto. Edited November 29, 2023 by Freddie's Dead 1 1 3 Quote
Saxum Posted November 29, 2023 Posted November 29, 2023 They forgot to include counters on number of murders covered up to demonstrate difference between two men. 2 Quote
billsbackto81 Posted November 29, 2023 Posted November 29, 2023 Enjoyed his time here and he paired nicely with Spikes but honestly never really considered him a "true" Bill. Jmo... 1 1 Quote

Noticed No Ray Lewis picture on website - Witness protection program is not usually for those witnessing murders but obstructing justice. 1 2 Quote

Major props to him and his longevity of a career. 1 Quote
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted November 29, 2023 Posted November 29, 2023 Spikes and London together…short lived but that’s what I’d love to see now. We have 24/7/365 offensive complaints, even though it’s the best offense we have probably ever had for a 4 year window. It’s insane lol The defense is the problem. Hope 43 can turn into the next Fletcher and hope he gets in the hall this year. Very underrated player, good for him. 1 1 Quote
Wizard Posted November 29, 2023 Posted November 29, 2023 (edited) Here is how I would Tier Hall of Fame Semi-Finalists. Tier 1 Peppers (Top 7 DE all time at retirement) Gates (top 7 TE all time) Tier 2 D. Hester (devalued position but was best at his role for 5-6 years in the league when he played) J. Allen (Probably #8 DE at retirement Tier 3 A. Johnson (Calvin Johnson before Calvin Johnson) Reggie Wayne & Torry Holt (two great receivers who played as #2 receivers to M. Harrison and Isaac Bruce) on two prolific offenses Patrick Willis (short career but was a perennial all pro at his position) D. Woodson (you don't receive 8 semi final nods unless you are a top 10 Safety of all time Tier 4 Steve Smith Sr (this guy was a gamer and so dangerous and fun to watch). Hines Ward (you were very good, won a title and played for Sterlers who have like 5-6 players who should be booted from Hall but you played for the Steelers) Dwight Freeney (your spin move was awesome, a top 3 player at his position for like 4 years, and you probably have cool Peyton Manning practice stories) Edited November 29, 2023 by Wizard 1 Quote

H2o Posted November 29, 2023 Posted November 29, 2023 I think both Peppers and Gates definitely get in. The others with the best shot to get in this year, imo, are: Jared Allen James Harrison Torry Holt Rodney Harrison I liked London fletcher, but I don't think he is widely viewed as a HOF LB by enough to get in. It could be a slim year where they only take in 4 this year. We shall see. 1 Quote
chongli Posted November 29, 2023 Author Posted November 29, 2023 (edited) Shame London won't get in. He wasn't viewed as "exciting" like Ray Lewis. 4 hours ago, Ethan in Cleveland said: Wait until Jason Peters is a first ballot HOF enshrinee Yep...or Marshawn Lynch or Stephon Gilmore maybe. 6 hours ago, Limeaid said: https://stathead.com/football/versus-finder.cgi?request=1&player_id1=FletLo20&player_id2=LewiRa00 London Fletcher vs. Ray Lewis: Defense Totals London Fletcher vs. Ray Lewis: Snap Counts Look at the snap count differences! I never knew he was so great. if a franchise based their entire identity on Fletcher like the Ravens did with Lewis he'd be in the HOF. the ravens still have lewis all over their franchise identity. it'd be like us having OJ simpson on our billboards in the game. it's disgusting. 3 Quote
