Albany,n.y. Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 Here's the Bills reply to my e-mail: The Bills Express will no longer be available due to Amtrak not being able to support the package. We appreciate your support of the team. Thank you Buffalo Bills
OBXBILLSFAN Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 That's too bad. My wife and I always talked about taking a detour on our way up and catching it in Albany. Sounded like a great party. Oh well. . .
eball Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 damn...i was really hoping for the raleigh/durham - orchard park route to open up this year.
nodnarb Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 amtrack is a perfect example of how the government runs business.
Alaska Darin Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 amtrak sucks. amtrack is a perfect example of how the government runs business. government sucks. 353937 Can't argue with that, either.
OBXBILLSFAN Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 amtrack is a perfect example of how the government runs business. 353937 Yeah, let's hear it for national health care.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 Ugghh...that sucks...for the first few years I started going to Bills games, It was via Bills Express. A great trip and a fun experience. Ahhhh Amtrak...way to go...
Tarrytown Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 So I ask the question...how many other people rode the "Express"? was there really a demand?
mead107 Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 i took it several times when you could just buy the train ride . i find it a lot more fun to get to buffalo on sat . and come home home monday. good food , good time and good sex .
Tom Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 Long day..... 2.5HR drive from NJ & a 5.5HR train ride.... old tracks, slow train. Lotsa fun tho! Kids loved it! I can drive to the Ralph door to door in 5.5HRS.........

Dan Gross Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 Here's the Bills reply to my e-mail: The Bills Express will no longer be available due to Amtrak not being able to support the package. We appreciate your support of the team. Thank you Buffalo Bills Blue Coats gone and now this. Whats next??? 354091 Shutting down all "non-official" parking lots? It actually started with the fried bologna sandwiches....
***PetrinoInAlbany*** Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 The most valuable part of the package to me was always the bus that took you to & from the Ralph from Dick Road. It was nice to be able to just get to the train station here in rensselaer and be covered pretty much all the way to your seats at the game. Demand? They sold out very quickly when available. I'll miss 'em ...
spidey Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 damn...i was really hoping for the raleigh/durham - orchard park route to open up this year. 353933 Already exists just takes 24 hours to get there with a stay over in NYC
\GoBillsInDallas/ Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 The most valuable part of the package to me was always the bus that took you to & from the Ralph from Dick Road.354298 It's always difficult to explain to people from outside WNY that there is a road in Buffalo named "Dick".
SF Bills Fan Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 I hope that is more of an Amtrak failure than a Bills failure.
BuffaloBorn1960 Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 So I ask the question...how many other people rode the "Express"? was there really a demand? 353953 We went to a couple of games and it was always fairly packed.
BillnutinHouston Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 Blue Coats gone and now this. Whats next??? 354091 Blue Coats gone? When did this happen and why? I missed that!
