Any coach with options would be nuts to take the head coaching job in Carolina. I don’t see anyone having success there with Tepper meddling so much. This article shows what a mess the situation in Carolina is with Tepper. But it also illustrates why you want control as a HC. It seems like Reich allowed himself into being talked into drafting Young when he wanted Stroud and hiring coaches from the outside even though they didn’t mesh with his offense. 1 Quote
Low Positive Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 This bit from Jeff Saturday about what he walked into in Indianapolis doesn't seem to reflect highly on Frank Reich as a head coach. It appears that he completely lost control of the organization Quote
Fleezoid Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 Frank Reich doesn't look like a head coach. He looks more like a guy that owns a machine shop. I picture walking in, handing him gadget and asking if he can build a replacement. Go back a couple days later to pick it up, but it doesn't work just right. Take it back....he does a little more work and gets it perfect. Quote
