We have now lost 6 games all by 6 points or less. If we had those 3 players healthy, what is our record?

We obviously lost the jets game even though they all played. Our other losses after the Jets include:

Jaguars - L (I think they would’ve still lost this game due to the weird circumstances and jet lag)

Patriots - W (even though they didn’t play good until they went no huddle at the end, our defense wouldn’t have let Mac Jones take the lead in that game)

Broncos - W (This could’ve been a dominant game similar to the dolphins game if completely healthy on defense)

Bengals - L (Bengals have our number. Score probably would’ve been the same)

Eagles - W (Bills win this one in overtime. Milano would’ve single handedly won the game for us with some turnovers and a stop in overtime)

9-3. You can’t lose your starting defensive tackle, all pro linebacker and starting cornerback from a great defensive team and expect them to still be great.

McDermott had all his healthy starters today, which includes a 1 for 1 replacement of Tre White in Rasul Douglas and a suitable mitigation at DT with Linval Joseph.

We’re really only down a LB at this point.

I really don’t want to hear this excuse.

Different players / Same McD bs.

Every single team has injuries.

Bills have 3 starters out and let’s be honest, Douglas is just as good as Tre now so technically 2.

Eagles today had Cox go out and their starting linebacker

There is no excuse for letting up 31 points in the 2nd half/OT

I think the bigger issue is, despite not having these guys on the field. We were still in a position to win every one of those games and we still lost them. Why? Because our loser Head Coach has no idea how to learn from his past mistakes. Over and over and over and over and over and over…

It’s not JUST McD, but at the end of the day he’s the HC.

The depth at DT, S, CB you brought in were also all terrible (although they were deemed great pickups at the time).

BB always said he’d rather let a guy go a year too early than a year too late. We kept Hyde/Poyer too long. Age is starting to catch up with their 2023 season.

Welcome to the board Mrs. McD.

The common denominator is that all three of these guys are playmakers. How do defenses get stops late when the game is on the line? A huge sack by Jones, a fumble caused by Milano, or a pick by White. I can tell you that Phillips, Dodson, and Benford aren’t really guys that can make those plays.

It's probably fair to add Von Miller to that list.

That makes three legit NFL playmakers and possibly the baddest mf on this roster in Jones.

We have those 4 guys healthy and we're playing for the #1 seed right now.

No excuse whatsoever.  McDermott is done.  He's likely getting fired after the season and Pegula will eat that ridiculous extension.  Keep Beane and find the best offensive HC available. Everyone has their own favorite. I like Ben Johnson but maybe Brady stays in some capacity.

I really hope you’re right, but I just have a weird feeling he’s coming back next year.

I hope you’re right as for my book, it would be inexcusable to bring him back

He can't...the team has quit on him.  No way PSL's get sold with this clown.  He's failed to do the one thing he had to do in 2019.....and that's build a dominant offense around Josh. He selfishly choose his lust for D.

We lost major people on Defense early.  Shattered my hopes at anything SB related this year.   Had no idea we had so many other issues to fix, I figured our WR would suck, no idea how people got hyped about Sherfield or Harty, fools gold easily. We have not had a real wr Corp since we had Diggs, Beasley, Brown/Sanders, and Gabe as last option since, well, they all left and got replaced with less talented people for Josh.  But hey, that Defense is something else!

We don't even have to be down a LB if someone would realize Son Of Dod is a liability that opposing coaches that don't suck (i.e. Philly) will exploit when he's in.

We were up 24-14 heading into the fourth quarter today, dominating the game.  Whether we had these other guys or not, we should not have lost today.  Why can’t McD and his vaunted D get off the field in the 4th quarter when the chips are down?  Why is Von Miller out on the field ever, at this point?
