If McDermott is fired, it’ll be one of the most desirable jobs available. If you were Terry Pegula, who would you hire? I’m in record that I’d fire McDermott in the morning and hand Brady the keys. I’d give him a 6 week audition. If it doesn’t work, I’d probably hire Bobby Slowik. Ben Johnson would be my 2nd option. Hopefully Brady works out. If not Slowik, Johnson, Kellen Moore. 1 Quote

Or leaving 12 men on the field. opt keeping Dorsey too long. And his failures are more than this season. Failures? McD has the 4th most wins in the NFL since 2017. Quote

Dominating the Commanders by 30 has no bearing on the next opponent. They are an overrated team with a bad defense playing somewhat average football and, until recently, a good offense playing average football. And they are .500. You’re arguing with math. 101 points more than their opponents is 8.5 points per game. They win some big and lose some close. That’s reality. That’s McDermott. Quote

Are you the guy that thinks McDermott deserves more credit for the Bills success than Allen?!? You’re like finding a unicorn. I might need an autograph. I don’t want to talk football with you. I want to learn more about your childhood and how your thoughts were developed. When did I say McD deserves more credit than Allen for the Bills success? You clearly didn’t read as a child. Quote

Which is what all the good teams do lol. this is your emotion talking Kirby. The Eagles lose close and win big. The Chiefs usually lose close and win big. Quote

When/if that fails they’ll clean house and partially gut what’s left of the roster. I assume you mean one more game... Quote

Look at point differentials around the league. Look at the win percentages associated with point differentials. It’s math. Quote

Look at the win percentages associated with point differentials. It’s math. Sure thing. We’ve heard this all before. We were blowing out most teams but lost a couple close ones and it was “the Bills can’t win one score games!” Then we were pulling out a bunch of one score games and it was “the Bills don’t blow anybody out!” This is the same playbook, 3 years running. Listen, I don’t really care to cape for McD. I just think he hasn’t done this epic disastrous job that you think he did. Sean Payton missed the playoffs 3 years in a row with Brees. Tomlin missed with Ben. Don’t even start with the Chargers. It happens. The majority of the championship core of this team is either old, hurt, or washed. The offensive coaching was a disaster (which I guess is on McD). It sucks. It’s not some epic failure solely on the HC. If we started the year with Ben Johnson, or Haurbaugh, or whoever you want, we wouldn’t be 10-1. Von Miller would still be playing patty cake out there. Tre and Milano would still be gone. Poyer would still be running in quicksand. Josh would still be throwing a million picks. We wouldn’t be much better, if at all. Feel free to disagree with that. I think you’d be wrong. 2 2 1 Quote
TheFunPolice Posted November 27, 2023 Posted November 27, 2023 Burrow out for the season. Rodgers going out ruins the Jets season. Watson out for the season. Browns done. Staley ruining another Chargers season. This should be an open lane to the playoffs. It won't get easier next year. 1 Quote
