Not at the table Karlos Posted November 27, 2023 Posted November 27, 2023 Prob Slowik HC, Brady/Griese/Brunell OC. Belichick DC. Quote
Brandon Posted November 27, 2023 Posted November 27, 2023 They wont fire McDermott before the end of the year, but I'd be looking at the remaining games as an audition for Joe Brady. Regardless, I don't want another defensive HC. Ever. 4 3 Quote
Roundybout Posted November 27, 2023 Posted November 27, 2023 Keep Joe Brady. I know it's two weeks but I love his offense. Get Saleh out of NY for DC. HC, who knows. Would prefer someone with some past experience. 1 1 Quote
Bill51390 Posted November 27, 2023 Posted November 27, 2023 If the offense keeps this up, don’t be surprised to see Joe Brady as HC. 1 1 Quote

I don’t think a new HC gets you over that hump. Players are put in a position to win week in and week out. We shouldn’t take that for granted. They arent put in positions to win. As evidenced by all the situational losses (having 12 men on a fg block, etc). As evidenced by the poor game planning (until Brady showed up for the O). Coach has to go. 3 1 1 Quote
Buffalo03 Posted November 27, 2023 Posted November 27, 2023 Yes Ben Johnson. The guy that has gold in Jahmyr Gibbs but thinks he's got copper instead 2 Quote
BillMafia716ix Posted November 27, 2023 Posted November 27, 2023 McDermott won’t be fired. One bad year doesn’t warrant him being fired. 2 1 2 1 Quote

If McDermott is fired, it’ll be one of the most desirable jobs available. If you were Terry Pegula, who would you hire? I’m in record that I’d fire McDermott in the morning and hand Brady the keys. I’d give him a 6 week audition. If it doesn’t work, I’d probably hire Bobby Slowik. Ben Johnson would be my 2nd option. McD is gonna be here next year. 3 4 Quote

McD deserves a ton of credit for firing Josh’s boy and his friend Ken. It was McD’s decision and clearly the right one. Quote
TheFunPolice Posted November 27, 2023 Posted November 27, 2023 Sadly we're going to become the Philip Rivers Chargers. Allen will keep McDermott employed and suffer for it. McDermott is our Norv Turner 4 Quote

We need to move on if we want to improve. I really don’t know what coaches are out there right now but hope they have a really strong look. 1 1 Quote

McDermott sure put the Iggles kicker into position to be successful with that TO. Instead of having to rush on a sloppy field he got to take his time and set up. Ridiculous. My wife and even my 18 yo daughter recognized how dumb it was. 5 3 1 1 Quote

Albright already mentioned that the seat is hot. He won’t be back. He sucks and mediocrity can’t be a thing with Josh Allen here. 2 Quote

It’s exactly because of all those close losses that McD is on the hot seat. How many times does an opponent get a free release with the game on the line before we replace the guy who keeps calling it? 3 Quote

The whole organizational structure of this team needs to change. Do what you should've done 5+ years ago and build your team around Josh. Not the other way around. End this insufferable zone defense. 1 4 Quote

He doesn’t have much coaching experience and this is first year as an OC. It’s tough to ignore what he’s done in Houston though and we’ve seen recent coaches who never even had play calling experience go on to be good HCs. 1 Quote
