I agree but it is Special Teams after all... Likelihood is a kicker over anyone else due to the numbers game. Aside from Dante Hall or Devin Hester, I can’t think of many guys who were consistently capable of winning that weekly award for several years.

Couple things. What is “player of the week” criteria? Also, I think this speaks to Mahomes’s consistency.

 

Allen’s highs are high, but it seems there’s an equal amount of befuddling performances.

The problem is not a lack of highs, it's the presence of lows, and an inability to play evenly high with consistency.

 

At his best, or when he's on, Josh is as good as anyone, and can do things no other QB can, including Mahomes.

 

It's when he's off that's the problem.
