Any It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia fans?

This week’s Bills opponent made me think of this series.  I’m very surprised to learn they still make new episodes!

 

 

I did try to watch the first couple seasons and thought a lot of it was hilarious.  I thought it was kind of like Seinfeld except it takes place in Philly and the characters were even worse as people but funnier!  Nevertheless I never really stuck with it.

Looks like a good series to stream when I retire.

 

It is funny but I have seen commercial with Scott Bakula on it many times and when I checked he only appeared in one episode.

I never thought of it like that before but an edgier version of Seinfeld set in Philadelphia is the perfect analogy for that show

The funniest one I saw was  "The Gang Beats Boggs" They actually bhad Wade Boggs on it. 

Here is the synopsis:

The Gang attempts to beat one of the most storied achievements in sports history: they are trying to beat Wade Boggs' record of drinking more than 70 beers in a single cross-country flight. Mac acts as Commissioner to try to keep everyone focused on the record, Dee gets off to an early start, and Frank and Dennis engage in a side bet to see who can join the Mile High Club first.

 

I saw it on acrosss country flight!

I really keep meaning to start watching this.  I never saw an episode.  I first saw Charlie Day in "Horrible Bosses" and thought he was hilarious.  I'll have to watch this now.  Another favorite of mine is Parks and Rec. I watched the whole series twice it's so good.

Was a big fan in my twenties but stopped watching it pretty quickly after college.    The only episode I've seen in the last ten years is the Wade Boggs challenge and it was hilarious.
