Just watched the lions game. When Josh eventually slows down, or his knees feel like mine do,  we still have a shot. Stafford can make any throw you need. 

 

i hope we win now, but we'll always be in any game for the foreseeable future.

He's not going to be leaping over guys or running crazy in open field much longer.  But right now allow him to do Josh things. Keep the designed runs to qb draws or bootlegs. There will be a time where the pocket will be his new home.  Just not yet.  Let me enjoy this unicorn a few more seasons, and then we can turn him into Stafford.
