97bills Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 The eagles are a good team , but this isn’t the pats dynasty with Tom Brady. We can win this game. And if we were healthy I would be expecting a win. Quote
harryS Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 While it's mathematically possible to lose to both the Eagles and Chiefs and still make the playoffs, in reality we need to cash in on the advantageous schedule situation we're in to go at least 1-1 and hopefully 2-0. (Against KC, the advantage is obviously 2 weeks of prep/rest to their 1 week). We're not going to win out if we blow these two opportunities here. Also, from a "deserve it" standpoint, we need to man up and get a good road win. The Browns won at the Ravens. The Texans won at the Bengals (with Burrow). Our only road win is Washington so far. 2 Quote
BBFL Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 Honestly, thought this was our year… still could be… We played all the NFC teams during the SB losses (Eagles and Cardinals excluded from that era). Beat the Giants, Skins and the Cowboys which leaves Philly as the remainder for that 80s/90s group… Philly are the talk as the best in the league with San Fran… Beat them too, sweep the East, get to the playoffs and see if we have to beat them twice in one season. Would be fitting if we made it and beat Philly again and get a Lombardi over the only remaining NFC East team who didn’t have our number in the big dance. Quote

If we come out and play a well-executed game on both sides, no major coaching issues/blunders, and Allen doesn't get jittery, it's a postiive sign despite still being unlikely. A loss under any circumstances pretty much ices things however. 30 minutes ago, BBFL said: Honestly, thought this was our year… still could be… Today is arguably the lynchpin game for determing that. Come on nyt playoff machine has us in the 60-70% range depending on who the wins are against if we get to 10-7. That’s hardly dreaming. Browns have been winning with bad qb play but they will now be getting awful qb play…I wouldn’t be surprised at all if they finished 2-5. DTR and Kenny Pickett are godawful. Pit could absolutely finish 3-4 and I genuinely have no idea on the Texans. Just need one of those 3 to lose games down the stretch You’re also forgetting about teams like the Colts and Bengals, who are each 5-5 and both of whom have tiebreakers against us. Quote

Jake browning led bengals? Lol come on (again 😂) colts play both the Texans and Steelers still which muddies the waters and allows us to catch up a game on somebody Quote
damj Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 Well. We're playing stupid today. 8 hours ago, harryS said: Also, from a "deserve it" standpoint, we need to man up and get a good road win. Not looking good today. Shooting ourselves in both feet today. Quote
nucci Posted November 27, 2023 Posted November 27, 2023 Big letdown by Eagles. Caught them at the right time Quote
