I've got to throw some props at Zach here. Yes, he's a gawdawful QB right now (although I think he might be the kind of kid that finds his game a couple years down the road, ala Geno Smith). But

Doubt it makes a difference but they have to try something.  Too bad they didn't keep Mike White...at least he looked good for a few games for them.

At one point I thought Ed Oliver had finished him for good (I thought that was worth every one of the 15 yards he drew) but he shook it off and kept right on rolling. He might be wet behind the ears and not ready for this league, but the boy has some moxie. 

He's showed some maturity this year as well. Remember last season he was benched right after telling the media he didn't feel it was his fault they were losing and he didn't let the defense down. This year, total turn around attitude wise. Has taken full blame after every loss. 

 

Yea, I get it skill wise it's not there for him. But he seems like a good kid. Hopefully the light goes on after the Jets release him and take the next high draft pick QB they ruin.

I never believed Rodgers was coming back this season and that it was all talk to keep the team motivated.  Now I'm certain he's not.  No point since they're not making the playoffs and he's liable to get injured even worse behind that OL.

I think its worse news.  As bad as Wilson is, Boyle is probably worse. Who knows though.  Not much film on him for Miami so maybe they get the surprise.  

 

Really, its the same with either QB.  They need to hope their run game works and they don't turn the ball over, while the defense plays lights out and keeps them in the game.

Saleh/Douglas/Woody had no choice.   Maybe if it was an away game they would have played Wilson another week but the game is in Jersey. Zach wouldn't have been able to make it out of the tunnel without a police escort if the fans thought he was starting.

it lets Rodgers be a distraction and buys some hope out of the roster. It’s more coachspeak than reality in my opinion

I agree! It looked like the D quit right after the Bills first TD. Sort of like “well that’s it our O stinks and we can’t come back from this now”

Think for adding that. That has to worst collegenumbers of any modern qb to make the nfl, doesn’t it?

he had 12 tds to 26 ints for his career!!! He never had a season more tds than ints. I’m not even hating on him. Him being a nfl qb truly amazes me.
