I'm just glad Brady knows how to get RBs open for screen passes. We haven't seen that in YEARS. Plus committing to the run and short passes gave them the opportunity to hit Shakir for the bomb.

Glad to see Brady not playing 4th dimensional chess or galaxy braining it on offense too. Stick with what works and use tempo effectively. Try a few plays that have been missing for ages to keep the D guessing. Even a few Josh designed runs were mixed in. They just need the threat of him taking off and it opens it up for the offense.

Shakir should have been utilized more dating back to last year.  He's speed and agility makes him very dangerous.

Glad to see Brady using Cook, Shakir, Morris, and many others.  Mismatches are what keep defenses off balance.  Different players, packages, etc.  No where to key in on.

It was noticeable that more guys were getting involved which is great news!

Another strong game for Shakir and another no-show game from Gabe Davis. Have we seen a change at the #2 receiver for the Bills?

He should.  Davis was MIA all night

It depends on the defense used - if they used a 2 high cap he is less useful.

Gabe does so much you guys can’t appreciate. He’s the Tremaine Edmunds of the offense and you just don’t know how to break down game film like Cover 1 or Shill Capaccio to notice. He draws coverage away from other players, well, at least 1 guy. He takes 6 seconds to get up to full speed which really throws off the defensive timing. He blocks well and is an expert at setting us up for going for it on 4th down when he drops 3rd down passes in his hands. You just don’t appreciate our captain.

Edit: Oh sorry, here’s the /s for 1/4 of this board

Production wise, absolutely. However Gabe will likely still see his starting job safe.

Shakir was fantastic, but so was Davis in that #3WR role.

This is a terrible take, seriously. The Bills have a new OC and you should suspend judgment until you actually know what’s going on. You honestly should delete your posts in this thread because they’re that bad.

I started calling for this a month ago…

Been great watching Shakir just keep making plays, been high on him since before the draft.

K. Nothing you say refutes anything I said. Until you do that I'll leave my posts up.

I think Josh is done even looking his way

He threw to him on his sideline scrambles.  Gabe is still good for a few of those tight sideline grabs a year.  Possibly his best use at this point.

Gabe didn’t look superior in the WR3 role. Embrace debate clown and then delete your posts like a big boy. Try and keep up

I think I saw Davis throw a good block on a running play once … so he’s got that going for him 😂

That and Steelers last year. This year he has a bunch of TDs but they were like his only catches of the game.

Gabe has had some good games in his career. Miami in the playoffs last season plus he had solid games against the Bucs and Commanders this season. The issue is that Gabe disappeares for games at a time.

I get that you can’t always have big games but you should find ways to have a positive impact and get a few receptions most games.

Shakir has been great at getting open since his collegiate days. The idea of having Shakir as a great option with Kincaid, will open up opportunities for Davis and Stephan. The running game will benefit because teams will not be able to load the box. This shakeup has paid dividends already with Josh taking what the defense gave and he crushed the vaunted Jet defense.
