I think you are wrong here, and disagree with trying to establish the run early. Complete as many short passes early to set up the run later. Jets D-Line is legit.

Allen didn't drop the second down pass to Diggs. It was right where it needed to be for Diggs to make a first down.

I also think the screen play to Diggs has been figured out by opponents, it’s way overused.
