Desert Bills Fan Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 I noticed this twice, in each of the last 2 games, prior to the offense getting back on the field. And I thought: that was pretty strange for a guy who used to be too hyped up with a “sugar rush”.. anyone else see that? 1 5 Quote
freddyjj Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 Opens up your airways. Maybe as simple as that? 1 Quote
bills742 Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 He famously did it on the sidelines against New England couple years ago while we were up big and it was deemed "savage". Maybe he should use a few more to get savage mode back on. 2 2 1 Quote
Dan Darragh Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 Maybe he's doing lines on the sidelines 2 2 9 Quote
Saxum Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 It is simple - Josh Allen is looking for another company to do advertisements for. 3 1 Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 Those are the special order "Wing sauce in Pepsi" model. Gotta get a mid game fix. Quote
Saxum Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 Has any one done statistics comparing win/loss record on smelling salts/no smelling salts? 6 Quote
HardyBoy Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 He's been doing this forever...I read an article on smelling salts and nfl games years ago, let me see if I can find it. I think this was the article I had read: https://www.espn.com/espn/feature/story/_/page/enterpriseSalts/ezekiel-elliott-clay-matthews-just-the-nfl-smelling-salt-users 4 1 Quote
Bobby Hooks Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 It could just be a habit at this point. When I bowl I have to put my hand over the little fan. My hands could be dry as the Sahara, I still have to feel those wild winds through my digits. 1 4 Quote

strive_for_five_guy Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 Was this after he dropped the handoff to Cook and looked ready to fall asleep? He seriously needs to take something to wake up during the games. Hopefully a 4:25 start helps. 1 1 Quote
WotAGuy Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 Once Josh gets his girl problems fixed, he’ll be fine. Between that and all the ways the coaches are trying to change him, the poor kid doesn’t know which end is up. 4 1 1 Quote

MJS Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 (edited) Very common in the NFL. Even Brady used to do it, and he won't eat a tomato. Edited November 18, 2023 by MJS 3 Quote

Scott7975 Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 A lot of athletes do this. It opens the airways so they can breathe better. Quote

Bubba Gump Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 It's very common in the NFL and NHL. what I don't understand is why some coaches use them too. Adam Gase used to, and just last night I saw one of the Sabres asst coaches hitting one a few times. Not sure why they would need them, unless they're hooked on them. 2 1 Quote
Cheektowaga Chad Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 Helps with focus more than anything in my experience Also helps "getting up to speed" rather than taking a a minute to figure out the pace of play you're already there Quote
