You mean those stereotypical cliches that come out of an off camera "coach interview" at the half can be fabricated? Shocked.

They can do away with those mid game on screen coaches interviews as well.

Completely agree.  Its the same garbage every game anyways.   Honestly they could do away with all the pre-game/post-game stuff at this point.   Just start the game a half hour earlier.

Haha. I hate those

"hey coach, what do you think about being down 35 pts on a winless team"

"Glad you asked,  I feel great. It gives us a chance to work on scoring points"

"what does Matt Milano feel about having a broken leg"

"ohh he's fine with it. It's a new challenge for him off the field"

"Thanks coach. back to you"

This one of the dumbest stories ever. She was on PArdon My Take and was having fun. People have to find things to get angry now. Lay off my ex. She’s a great person.

lol, it's a legit story.

lol… to be honest, I’ve mentioned to my wife and my dad over the years thay whenever the sideline reporters say at the beginning of the 2nd half “I talked to so-and-so, and they said xyz” that they could very well be making it up.  Guess that lends credence to that theory!

All these stupid podcasts do is get athletes and media figures in trouble because people take things out of context and create clickbait stories. You should never take anything said on Pardon my Take or Bussin' with the Boys seriously; the hosts bait people into saying things.

Have you ever listen to that podcast? Allen and Daboll have been on doing Deez nuts jokes. Are they possibly gay and/ or sex offenders?

it’s not that deep of a podcast.

Exactly and this is why athletes/ people hate talking to the media. The second you show personality, you get in trouble for it.

imagine if everyone acted like hockey players and showed zero personality. It would be so boring.

She admitted to fabricating sideline reports.  And doubled down on it again in another interview.

I guess I just don’t care haha. I’m a guy who doesn’t care what the commentators (it’s insane what they pay those guys because they are all the same to me) or sideline reporters say. They offer nothing to me. In fact, I would enjoy made up fact more (“Sean McDermott said he had a stressful week because he buried 3 people in his basement but is looking forward to the game today”),

The only personality that fabricating sideline reports shows is a lack of integrity.

Introducing the new AI sideline reporter, ChatGPT.

Me:

Write a fictitious halftime interview between a reporter and Sean McDermott.

ChatGPT:

Halftime Interview - Buffalo Bills vs. Archrivals

Reporter: "Coach McDermott, it's been an intense first half. What are your thoughts on the team's performance so far?"

Sean McDermott: "First of all, credit to our guys for their effort out there. It's a tough battle, as we expected with our archrivals. We've had some positive moments, but there are areas where we need to tighten up. It's a tight game, and we'll make the necessary adjustments to come out stronger in the second half."

Reporter: "The running game seems to be struggling a bit. What adjustments do you plan to make to get it going?"

Sean McDermott: "Yeah, the ground game hasn't found its rhythm yet. We'll take a look at the blocking schemes and see where we can create some lanes for our backs. It's important for us to establish the run and keep the defense honest. We'll make some tweaks and look to open up the playbook a bit more in the second half."

Reporter: "Defensively, there were a couple of big plays given up. How do you plan to address that?"

Sean McDermott: "Defensively, we pride ourselves on limiting big plays, so that's something we'll definitely address. It's about communication and making sure everyone is on the same page. We'll make some adjustments in our coverages and put our guys in better positions to succeed. We trust our defense, and I'm confident they'll respond in the second half."

Reporter: "Any specific message for the team in the locker room?"

Sean McDermott: "Absolutely. I just told the guys to stay focused and disciplined. We're in a tight game against a tough opponent, but we're built for this. It's about executing our game plan, playing with intensity, and making plays when the opportunities present themselves. We're a resilient group, and I have confidence that we'll come out in the second half ready to fight."

Reporter: "Thanks, Coach. Good luck in the second half."

Sean McDermott: "Thank you. It's going to be a battle, and we're looking forward to it."
