The populists won't be deciding. Hear everyone out and then our leadership decides. With the 10 million plus illegals to deal with, I suspect we'll see the faucet turned down for awhile, while continuing to allow for the better educated/trained workforce that we need. Common sense IMO

All those “illegals” are mowing your lawn, hanging drywall, roofing, painting, siding, framing, meat packing, landscaping, watching preschoolers, picking fruits and vegetables, paving, cleaning, laying brick….we don’t need those ?

you mean he won't stick to his populist talking points?  shocked!  It is common sense except to a majority of MAGAs and right wing influencers as illustrated here.  But he can't run again so he may just do what is correct.  I'm not confident.

I get what you're saying, and am concerned.

But.....The team he is putting together is a group who have dealt with non political reality, ie., accomplished individuals who have merit based success.

That is encouraging, and certainly a drastic change from the never had a real job career politicians the Dems puke into these rolls.

A question regarding “elites”, one of which you believe yourself to be - why on earth would an “elite” feel the need to lie about going to college with Susan Collins? That’s quite weird. If you are a representative member of the elite class, why would someone pay attention to anyone so foolish?

My brother or I mowed the lawn for years. My dad hung drywall in our house as we totally renovated it over 10 years. My brother replaced my mother's  roof at least twice. Landscaping- see lawn mowing. Framig- my dad and cousin built our two car garage. Mom was home watching me, my sister, and then my brother. Not an illegal in sight.

Great.  Did they build any condos or apartments in an area screaming for housing?  Cuz on the way to the mini mart that sells "ne Ethanol" gasoline for mowers, I keep seeing these condos go up in a few short months and I've yet to see a white face doing the work.
