He's obviously smart enough. I'm not sure if anyone knew this, but he went to Harvard. He loves the game and loves Buffalo. I'd give him a shot. Maybe he could get Josh's head back in the game instead of in his ass.

I like Fitzie as well as most Bill fans abut we have ZERO idea if he has any desire, ability or inclination to do it.  He is a natural on TV and well liked even beyond Buffalo, why would he abandon that.

Can’t imagine him being interested in passing up the cushy TV gig to come deal with this mess.

Or any mess. Those TV jobs are great gigs. Almost nobody leaves a TV job for a coaching job unless they offer you the whole bag like Mark Davis did to Gruden.

He's living his best life right now, in what world would he possibly want to give that up and grind day in and day out.

There's a reason why you don't see successful players go into coaching.

Fitz made $80m in his career. Why would he want that level of demanding work, 60 hours a week during the season

Why are there so many other rich ex-player coaches out there then?

Go through every teams coaching staffs. There are plenty of successful ex players out there. They may not be successful coaches, but they are out there.

Sure, but I don’t think he wants that grind.  He’s got a great gig that allows him to spend a lot of time with his family

I mean he still wanted to play football I thought? Plus, he could become the next Belichick. Become a successful HC and bring his sons up behind him. Lol

Fitzy as Bills QB Coach? Now, we're just being silly.

I will file this under the same dynamic as "Jim Kelly as Part Owner of Bills" or "Chad Kelly as Bills QB"

There is no unbridled sentimentality like that of a Bills fan.

Bryan Cox has an estimated net worth of 5m. That's 75 million less than Fitzpatrick, not including any advertising money he made during his career.

5 million is a lot of money, but it's not generational FU money.
