Section27 Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 He is senior offensive assistant. Alabama QB. Alabama Head coach. 9 years as an NFL offensive coordinator. What does he actually do? You think he would help. Quote
LabattBlue Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 So the question is why Brady instead of Shula? 2 Quote
RoyBatty is alive Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 Shula with the Bills would be bad karma, imo. 1 1 Quote
TheyCallMeAndy Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 He lends knowledge. I actually thought he could get the OC, has had several good seasons with different QBs. 1 1 Quote

Old school vs new school, and Brady has a closer relationship with Allen. My speculation. Shula did good things with a healthy Cam Newton. Edited November 14, 2023 by TheyCallMeAndy 2 1 Quote

DrDawkinstein Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 I actually thought we might name him Interim HC if Terry cleaned house this morning. Shula has enough experience to be interim CEO and handle the details. Brady to OC Bobby Babich to DC Oh well, at least we got Dorsey out. 2 Quote

Low Positive Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 This is an interesting topic because all teams have these guys with ambiguous titles on their staffs. In fact, the Bills have few of them compared to other teams. The Ravens have two guys with the title "Senior Football Analysit/Gameplaning." They also have two "coaching analysts." Also, did you know that Bills' fan favorite Brian Cox is the Assistant Defensive Line Coach for the NY Giants? Quote

Daboll was a OC for years before he landed with the Bills. Quote

Brianmoorman4jesus Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 I really wanted him to be the OC but whatever. Anything now Is 3 weeks to late anyway so who even cares. Quote
