Let's see what happens under the change to Brady (and I'm sure Shula helping out). I'm just glad to see them do SOMETHING, ANYTHING. 100%, he should have been booted weeks ago. Baby steps in the right direction, but the season is probably a wash now, better to focus on the future of the rest of the coaching staff. 1 Quote

Bob Jones Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 First the Penn State OC, now Dorsey….who’s next? Don’t these firings come in 3s!? 🤔😂 Quote

Dorsey didn’t drop an easy pass that ended being being a pick. Dorsey didn’t throw a stupid sideline interception. Dorsey didn’t organize the field goal defense where an EXTRA MAN ON THE FIELD caused a game changing penalty. Dorsey was bad. But he was like the 5th bad thing last night. Sure, but I don’t think you fire McD before the end of the season. Least ways not until the season is well and truly over 3 Quote
May Day 10 Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 We will see. This could be Pegula demanding something happen while watching his $258 Million quarterback withering on a vine in his prime. If thats the case, I could actually see a coaching change on black monday if this 'streak' continues. 2 2 Quote

I could not have used broader language. oh, I totally agree it possibly buys McD another. I disagree that it should/will. But it's totally possible, particularly with this conservative FO. I hope you are wrong 1 Quote

He didn’t drop balls or throw INTs or fumble the ball. X4 They aren't going to fire McD mid-season, not as long as the season is still salvageable. Frankly as much as I'm a critic of the man, I think he's earned that unless the wheels come completely apart over the next few weeks. But I think the door is open for him to be fired after this season. I didn't think that would be possible even with our early struggles, but I do now. 1 2 Quote

If the new OC does great it shows McD can’t assess offensive coaching talent properly. If he does poorly, it shows McDermott is useless with regards to the offense. Quote

Without doubt. Josh Allen is a child and needs a coach, not another buddy. Agree he is responsible for this. Edited November 14, 2023 by ndirish1978 6 Quote

Johnnycage46 Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 Not saying he didn't deserve it, but this is classic scapegoating...McD is still here...so this team will be business as usual (which sucks!) 3 Quote
Airseven Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 Necessary move. But I hope Allen takes it hard. Quote
