Pete
This seasons over. We have a spectacular new stadium being built. We have many great building blocks on offense and defense. What changes should be made? Please be insightful-“ Bills offense sucks” might be true, but brings nothing to discussion. Offense- Josh, Kincaid, Cook, Diggs, Shakir, Cyrus Defense-Bernard, Milano, Benford, Rousseau, AJ, Oliver, Taron 2024- Milano, Knox, Hines- maybe Daquan and Tra return. Bills 2024 draft picks- 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 5, 6, 6, 6, 7 My off-season list- 1-fire Dorsey, possibly McDermott 2-WR 1A- priority 1 3-S - we need 2 new starting S 4-extend AJ. Roos, Daquan. 5-RB - power back that can block 6-fill depth on D and both lines 7-replace Gabe and Hardy 8-stress fundamentals. Aquire players that can catch, tackle, and tough. boyst
We are potentially losing a bakers dozen of impactful players. 2024 is going to be difficult. We will be a young new team with a new identity (and hopefully a new HC) next year. The smarter option would have been a retool this year. Ok, I have questions… 1. replace the OC and/or HC with who? 2. You listed 3 WR and a TE that’s great catching the ball. One of them would be under utilized with a 1A. Also the 2 losses I saw was not the WR but Allen just missing the open WR a lot! (4th down in the first half he literally got the ball no where near a wide open receiver that would been a 1st down and more.) So what would another WR do? 3. Safeties will be hard to get it’s not a draft class with a deep safety class. So any ideas how they get 2 new ones? 4. ok 5. Why? The Bills with Allen refuse to stick with the run. I don’t know why but they don’t do that. 6. Every teams dream to do it just isn’t realistic to do unless you sacrifice depth elsewhere. 7.ok 8. These are Pros they all should be able to do that! It seems a lot of teams struggling with bad tackling like I said I have only seen like 2 or 3 of the Bills losses. 2 of those games were lost because Allen made rookie mistakes and missed wide open receivers all game. IMO the Bills need bring someone in who can help Allen get back to being more consistent like he was the last 2 years. It doesn’t have to be a coach maybe a retired QB he respects comes in and watches film with him and helps him see what he missed? 20 minutes ago, Coldfronts said: need to address the O line too. in Particular the rt tackle and center Lot of quality tackles coming out in this years draft.
