Exactly!  This team is in no position to gamble like that.

He's probably trying to say that they should have been getting plays off with less pace.

But that's stupid too, because the only time the offense ever gets in rhythm is when they run it with pace.

With that response is ANYONE still confused about what the heck is wrong with the offense right now? Not only do they have to score, they have to do it in the ‘right’ way. And, despite no huddle, uptempo play working this season, it has to be abandoned because they may score too fast.

Please, McDermott, do everyone a favo(u)r and resign.

Scoring too fast??? ***** me what is wrong with this coach...

In his defense Peyton said the same thing. Cook was moving the ball. We had production from Murray. Go down at the one in bounds and trust your guys. Force Denver to use some time outs.

I subscribe to the “score when you can”. But I get it.

Again, people are just making stuff up.

It was First and Goal from the 7 yard line, with 2:35 left to play.

We handed it to Cook for 1 yard, to take it to the two minute warning.

We ran again with Allen and scored.

Denver had 2 timeouts.  There is no "go down at the 1 to run the clock out" scenario.  It's just something you imagined would be better than losing the way we did, but just couldn't possibly have happened.

Yep.  Down 6, you take the TD when you can get it.  If we dick around and then don’t get it on downs, that’s just stupid.

Peyton Manning said something similar live. Like right when it happened he said “he shouldn’t have scored. He should have gone down in bounds”.

You also conveniently left out the part where I said “force Denver to use one of their time outs.” It’s not just the 30 seconds off the clock, it’s them burning a time out.

I get it, nobody is right all the time. I disagree with all sorts of pundits with real life NFL experience. But when a top 5 QB of all time says in real time, “should have gone down and forced Denver to burn a TO”, it’s certainly not made up.

Yes exactly right. His defensive calls at the end of the game were clownshoes joker status bush league garbage. Its 13 seconds over and over and over again..

TYROD ALMOST GOT US IN FINAL SECOND!!!

Yes, yes it is.  There are times when "going down" to keep the clock running is the correct play.

Second and goal from the 6 behind by 6 points with 2:00 left and your opponent having 2 timeouts is most assuredly not one of them.  Whether you're an idiot like Sean McDermott or a genius like Peyton Manning, it doesn't change reality.

Neither is Dorsey, which is why we never throw the ball downfield on 2nd and short.

Allen should have slid short of goal? That makes sense in a perfect world. That ensures a play for the game down 16-22.

No it doesn't.  That Allen run was with 2:00 on the clock with Denver having 2 timeouts.  It doesn't make sense in a perfect world, an imperfect world, or any world in between.

Said he has confidence in him but things could have been better, then brings up scoring too fast when we got down to the endzone.

That tells me he is not happy with Dorsey.

He's a moron. Score too fast...score too slow....run....don't run...experimenting with different styles....why don't we experiment with ending his tenure in Buffalo.

Does he honestly think they should have burned downs there?

I did not get that impression at all.  He said it almost in passing, then commented on being aggressive on D, and then he mentioned practicing going from dime to the FG team this week, even practicing blocks.  He said the whole team had to be better.
