If he actually used the "scoring too fast" excuse... my goodness, he's got to go.

That's only a thing if you need a FG and you want to burn the clock at the end of the game.  If you need a TD - you score that in any way that you can.

 

If he truly believes this, then it explains a lot of his ridiculous game management habits late in the 4th quarter of games.

How was Dorsey even supposed to burn more clock? It was a drive of 100% running plays. They didn’t pass or go out of bounds once.
