Stefon Diggs, weird as he may be to some, has never, ever not shown up to play. He wants to be the best and he wants to win. Period. If he’s pissed it’s for good reasons. Josh Allen, on the other hand, it’s hard to tell sometimes. I don’t care what his brother says on X either. True. Idk, I'm just presenting a cpl interesting takes by the media Life or death, If i had to guess, Stef has voiced displeasure for his brother he talks to daily, which prompted his brother to make 2 pretty disrespectful tweets towards Allen and the Bills. 1 hour ago, Doc Brown said: Not until after next year as his contract is basically untradeable. Like grow the F up man, if you have something to say, say it yourself! Maybe he's truly a cancer in that locker room , idk but it wouldn't be the first time in his career. https://x.com/pickasidepod/status/1724899655514050908?s=20 Gronk chiming in on Diggs - https://x.com/jasrifootball/status/1724909131751100651?s=20 Edit - lot of downvotes , I'm just presenting what ppl are saying. Ultimately I hope it only gives Allen and the team , especially the O , a huge chip on their shoulder vs Dallas We’re not doing the “cancer” thing. We’re not doing the blame the good players thing. We’re not doing the addition by subtraction thing. Thats what Buffalo has done forever. Playing the “he doesn’t want to be here card”. The Sabres keep playing that darn card still in 2023. How about Josh plays the get it to Stefon Diggs 10 times a game card because he’s the only real WR the team has? 1 1 1 Quote
CSBill Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 I'm getting tired of the Stephon Diggs act--or maybe more accurately, the Trevon Diggs off-Broadway act. 1 Quote
Coldfronts Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 Diggs is a drama queen who will be gone after next season or sooner and I am OK with that 1 2 Quote

To say that he needs to grow the F up or call him a drama queen is the message board equivalent of a 3 year old throwing a temper tantrum 2 1 Quote

Yes, a good chunk of change but it's completely feasible depending on the return of compensation. It would also clear $19M off the cap assuming any team that traded for him didn't have the Bills eat some of that. Problem is I don't think at his age teams will be willing to give fair compensation for him. MAYBE Dallas is willing to move a 1st for him thinking he's the final piece of the puzzle. While I believe Diggs wants to win and win here in Buffalo with this team, it's fair to wonder if he doesn't try and force his way out of McDermott is brought back. You could also end up with a new coaching staff that is wanting to move on from him and start fresh at the position. A lot of things possibly in play between now and week 1 next year. In the end I'm hoping we have a new HC, Diggs is optimistic and happy about the chance to win here and it's business as usual next season for Diggs in Buffalo. Quote
Since1981 Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 He’s done everything possible on field. He’s not flagged nor done anything off field. That he gets a little annoyed at losing? Criminal! Never happens here 1 Quote

It is Diggs addition to a list already including Dorsey, McD, Beane, Pegula, Davis, the o line, Tre White, Miller, Harty, and probably a few others that “must go” so Josh can save us. Quote
TrentEdwardsCheckDownOn4th Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 I've been saying diggs needs to go since the offseason, but unfortunately the way his contract is set up we would take on a ridiculous amount of dead cap space if we traded him. But yeah I'd rather have a 1st rd stud WR vs. Diggs (assuming we could trade diggs for a 1st rder) Quote
Gregg Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 I wish more players on the Bills had the desire to win that Diggs has. Diggs would run through a wall to win a championship. We need more of that here. 1 Quote
Matt_In_NH Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 I have seen Stef be a leader this year trying to rally the troops when things are not going well. I don't necessarily love his style sometimes but I dont think it hurts to have an emotional guy on a team seems solely motivated on winning. Quote
UKBillFan Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 Diggs' will to win is great. But for him to clearly moan at his brother (understandable and fair enough) without either appreciating it may get into the public domain or wanting it to with no rebuttal is concerning. The off season was surrounded by rumours about his relationship with Josh which he did not sufficiently address so of course it's going to rumble on, aided and abetted by his brother, so of course there's going to be questions asked. On the field, is Josh the biggest issue? Definitely. Is Diggs doing all he can off the field to keep things smooth as possible? IMO no. Quote
BillsFanNC Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 Stephon Diggs hates to lose. Probably more than he loves winning. That's his "problem" Quote

One of the best teammates and leaders the Buffalo Bills have ever had. Everyone talks about him nationally - but most of it is just speculation. Guys w/ shows & podcasts filling up the time.. meh. I think he’s well known throughout the league for being a live wire that has these types of takes. That he isn’t saying the stuff at press conferences doesn’t mean he’s not saying it to his guys, who talk. Quote
Chugga Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 It is wild to me reading some of these comments. “This isn’t an issue”. Your #1 top WR has a brother who plays in the league full blown ******** on his team then doubles down a day later and ***** on his quarterback and people are like “he has passion, nothing to see here - that’s just his dumb brother”. I love Stef, my favorite Bill but come on. Where were all the people telling Pat to get Jackson off the sidelines and Brittney to shut the hell up. “Control your family”. And all that family ever did was do look at me behavior and cheerlead for their brother or husband. It is crazy to me that people see absolutely nothing wrong with this. I just wonder how everyone’s reactions would be to this stuff if he didn’t have an untradeable contract. Would you feel a different type of way maybe? 1 2 Quote
dorquemada Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 dude is the only guy showing up consistently on the Offense. I'd be pissed to if I were him, if the other 10 were as committed to him to putting in the work, being in shape, and playing hard, the Bills would be undefeated. Who cares if he talks smack with his brother or whatever. More Diggs, less of these other layabouts 1 Quote

You gotta realize, a lot of Josh haters in this forum, so this won't go with their narrative, and when it comes to Diggs, people prefer to keep the rose colored glasses on. Diggs was "liking" shady social media posts about Josh in the off season. This did not just happen overnight. I am tired of watching Josh constantly defend him, literally, sit there in front of the press and ask people to stop talking bad about Stefon, when Stef refuses to do the same for him. The fact that those tweets from his little brother are still up speaks volumes. There is already a huge, national pile on regarding Allen right now. Having someone you call your brother/friend making it even worse is pretty bad. 3 Quote
TheyCallMeAndy Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 I do agree that little bro bro running his mouth is bad look. IMO the Diggs stuff was over blown, but he could have simply sent 1 Tweet that would have stopped a whole offseason of speculation. Lil Diggs is publicly running his mouth, if Big Diggs wants to stay here hope he nips it. We will see. Lil Diggs bashing Allen publicly isn’t a good look. 1 1 Quote
