I have no idea how you destroy a great QB like that as well. The Sabres have a potential Norris Trophy winning D-man who was the #1 overall draft pick, and he turned to COMPLETE GARBAGE under the "tutelage" of Ralph Krueger. Krueger gets fired, a real coach comes in, and Dahlin's game is back to looking fantastic. It's amazing what bad coaching can do. 2 Quote

You forgot to mention the Punt God Quote
Buffalo_Stampede Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 (edited) I hate that there’s talk of locker room issues. Sometimes it’s bad to keep players around too long. Fighting starts and sides are taken. It’ll be interesting to see how this all plays out in the offseason. Bills are going 7-10. Edited November 14, 2023 by Buffalo_Stampede Quote

Miller and Knox are both utterly untradeable due to their contracts! It's precisely why those deals were so bad. Most fans haven't gotten this far in their thinking yet, but I totally agree with you that this team is due for some major personnel changes going into next season and beyond. Basically, the team that Beane and McDermott built to win a SB has now failed to do that, and this group is NOT going to do that. Things need to be reinvented around here. 1 1 Quote

Next season is going to be a reset, and the goal will be fighting and clawing for a wild card spot. The roster is going to be rough, and we will not be the more talented team most weeks. Quote
Sherlock Holmes Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 (edited) Josh Allen won us the game at the end...D and refs and special teams and coaching pissed it away again. Edited November 14, 2023 by Sherlock Holmes 1 2 2 Quote
Nelius Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 (edited) He was never the bad guy. If he wants out after a lost season it really shouldn’t be viewed as crazy. He wasn’t the bad guy in Minnesota when he was playing second fiddle to Adam Theilen with QB purgatory king Cousins at the helm and wanted out then either. These guys don’t have to wither away on bad teams like Eric Moulds. He’s going to have 10k yards before 30, he shouldn’t be expected to waste his few remaining peak years on a losing organization. He’s putting up a a special career statistically. A ring or two puts him into rare air. Zero puts him with Derrick Mason. Edited November 14, 2023 by Nelius 2 Quote

We failed this year, with likely a better roster than next year. Tome to cut bait and let a new regime reconstruct in 2024 and shoot for 2025. That's best case scenario, under this regime next year we will be trying not to be lastvin the division, a place we are very closely flirting with now Quote

Still making dumb mother fing decisions!!! Should have had another int in the first quarter!! Dude is not good!! Stop! There at least 25 other HC's and GM's that would kill to have JA17 over their current QB situation. There are so many other factors that have contributed to this mess of a season, not just Josh having a down year. 2 1 Quote

The sooner the better, as in after the season Quote
Ray Stonada Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 Diggs has been truly awesome for us. Like a talented big brother. He has CARED more about what happens to the team than anyone. And so yeah, he’s been right all along. All the way back to the AFC championship game in his first season here. 1 Quote

I’d throw Jalen Hurts in there as well. He’s just not consistent enough and turns the ball over way too much. It’s sucks because when he on his A game he looks like one of the top guys in the league. But he has too many games that look like tonight. You never want to go into a game asking yourself whether good Josh or bad Josh is going to show up. Quote

That's compared to Cook, who fumbled for the first time in 27 and was promptly benched for almost an entire quarter. When the QB is struggling, WR1 is a key component to help. The dropped catch didn't do that, and led to a bad play afterwards. He isn't the major issue, but all if the drops and fumbles on offence add up. Quote
