This loss was all on the players. It's not McDermott's fault that the only hope left in the game was that the Donkeys would miss a field goal. Picks, drops, and fumbles are not the coach's fault, sorry. This isn't Pop Warner.

So how many people jumped up after the first FG went wide and yelled “He missed it !  He missed it!”

I did for sure.  My only solace is that it wasn’t one of those things where a Bills player was half a step from getting off the field and they snapped it. this was flat out 12 guys just standing there. what a joke.  McDermott calls it “inexcusable”.  Ok, now what Sean?!?

2 to 1 odds he fires the special teams coach to save his job for one more season.  The problem with that is it still leaves the offense a mess and the defense, regardless of injuries, can't get off the field or make a meaningful stop.  The team has no identity and while I've been slow to come around to the idea the HC has got to go!  The culture and process have failed.

Yeah this is the season that Rex and Greg Roman may not be so bad. The team should be playing more conservative since the QB is a bit of a mental case right now. Not blaming him solely for last night though. but the first halves have been atrocious

Taking Cook off the field for three offensive series when he was the most potent offensive threat isn't down to the players. Blitzing on 3 and 10 out of FG range when the Broncos had just seen the move isn't the players. Constantly slowing down the tempo on offense when uptempo is key isn't the players. Abandoning the run game when it's working isn't the players. Not being able to count to twelve after a timeout goes beyond the players. Turning up looking unfocused and unprepared each week goes beyond the players.

I jumped up when the Refs were conferring and said:

”OMG, McClapper called a brain dead Time Out- again!”

But NO, he was saved by that buffoonery, because he had the 12th Man playing on the final, kick in the balls, loser play!
