Buffalo Barbarian Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 (edited) Im not a fan of Dorsey or his system but hes not going anywhere during the season. Matt Canada of the Steelers was made to come to the sidelines and their offense is doing better since he did. Our Offense should be spectacular but its misfiring like crazy, maybe if Dorsey comes down, the offense comes up by a score a game , which theoretically would make us undefeated. PetermansRedemption Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 Sure, can’t hurt. We have seen what he calls from the booth and I am not impressed. 7 1 Quote
CaptnCoke11 Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 Like the OC on the sidelines. I don’t GM have a good reason but it just makes more sense to me. Seems like a more efficient way to do it 1 Quote
LABILLBACKER Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 If he can't recognize defensive formations from 100' up, he's sure as hell not going to do any better at ground level. Who knows? 7 4 1 Quote
RobbRiddick Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 I'm willing to try anything at this point. Could Dorsey's playcalling be improved by him wearing a pirate patch over 1 eye? Let's give it a go! 2 8 Quote
SoonerBillsFan Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 Neither, he should go home, then move on to some other team. 2 5 2 1 2 Quote
Joe Ferguson Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 Sideline, only if he becomes the teams waterboy. 1 Quote
Donuts and Doritos Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 How will it make any difference? Quote

Hotdog water Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 I think Dorsey should definitely come down from the booth and then exit the stadium, never to be seen again. 3 1 5 Quote
SectionC3 Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 I think the point is to get Dorsey further away from the sideline. 2 1 Quote
RunTheBall Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 Oh boy, second only to the “players only meeting” is the “bring the coach out of the box” maneuver. We are in a potential wheels blowing off the bus territory now 1 1 6 Quote
Since1981 Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 Booo. third poll option: parking lot Doesn’t matter. He’s in Josh helmet all game Quote
Gugny Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 He should come down to the sidelines … proceed to the locker room … pack all of his stuff … and go away forever. 2 2 2 Quote

So we'll see shots of Dorsey chucking iPads & screaming while Josh stares into space. Like Bill O'Brien & Mac Jones: (All kidding aside, I get your point. How could it get worse, unless we see McD strangling Dorsey on the sideline) Edited November 13, 2023 by Donuts and Doritos 1 1 Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 FWIW, the did ask him about this possibility last week. His reply indicated he was very against the idea. Quote
All_Pro_Bills Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 Should they move the HC to the booth and turn off and unplug everything and lock the door? 2 Quote
PBF81 Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 Maybe Dorsey was never the right guy to begin with. Maybe McD won't hire the right guy because that guy would be a candidate to replace him. Simply because "Josh likes him," doesn't mean he's competent. That's the problem with this whole "culture" thing. It's like a fraternity, but a fraternity in and of itself is not a good business model. Competence is still needed. Fraternities, aka "culture" in this case, translates to little more than blind loyalty. 3 Quote
