BillMafia716ix Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 Happy for Motor. 30 touches and 150yards vs. Cincy today. Thought the Bills didn’t view him as an every down back?? Still upset the Bills shut him down towards the end of last season to play James Cook. Great job today Motor!! A Rookie QB and a ex Bills RB went into Cincy and did what the Bills couldn’t. Doc Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 He was averaging 8 carries/game and 3.4 YPC prior to today. It will be interesting to see if they run him as much in the future as they did today. 3 1 Quote
Real McClappy Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 If the Texans get that kind of running game throughout the remainder of the season they will be a dangerous team if they get into the playoffs. 1 3 Quote
Xwnyer Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 they aren't afraid to throw the ball down field. Top offense in doing that. Motor was way under rated in Buffalo. Cook and Hines were brought in to add that dynamic pass catching RB that the dunce of an OC doesn't know how to scheme to. 5 1 2 3 Quote

Mikie2times Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 It's good to see Singletary was capable of having his best game as a pro in his 9th game with a rookie QB an head coach. 1 1 Quote

BuffaloBillyG Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 Bobby Slowik is going to be a hot commodity for HC. Maybe not this off season but definitely by next. He's done a tremendous job with that offense. 2 Quote
Southern_Bills Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 Singletary plays in a Shanahan style offense now, not saying he isn't good, but numbers can get inflated in that system. I wish we ran that system, but we dont. 1 Quote

What they didn’t have to do was draft his recplacemeng in the 2nd round…especially when he isn’t a 3 down threat because his ability in pass pro is so limited (for a team that wants to sling the rock) I like Cook at a player, just not as an investment. He isn’t moving the needle for this team as much as you would hope. P.S. YPC is a dangerous statistic! 1 1 1 Quote
Process Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 Despite what you saw last week the Bengals defense is not good. It's actually pretty awful. Prior to this week singletary wasn't doing anything special and I do not miss him. 2 1 1 1 Quote
billieve420 Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 Cook is not being done any favors with all those predictable Shotgun run calls. Downside with Cook is that he is not a good run blocker. Would like to see him split out wide a little more. 2 Quote

But he is not a better RB than Cook and he is not a "great" RB as some are stating here. I don't disagree about drafting a RB in the 2nd round though. Quote

Perhaps it's a little concerning that a guy can do what he's never done in 61 games with us, not even close, with a first year everything in game 9. 1 Quote
