I'll eat my hat if the Bills score 31, and give full credit to Latavius Murray

Just gonna save this post

Maybe as the oldest RB in the league, he gave an impassioned speech about this being his last shot. Maybe he wanted emphasize how great the guys in that room are, and that as an outsider who’s been on some great teams, he sees limitless potential. Maybe he even talked about what great leaders Diggs and Allen are, but they can’t do it alone game after game. And that the only way through, is together.

Part of good leadership is knowing when other voices need to be heard. The idea that meeting wasn’t called by Davis, Diggs, or Allen means that there is a power vacuum, is absurd. Veteran voices have a lot to say in a locker room that is struggling to find confidence and success. Especially when the effort is there.

No, I need to be angry about this

Interestingly enough...meeting NOT held by one of the captains....but by Latavius Murray.

SF was 4-4 (and then 5-4) in 2022.

The Giants were 6-6 at one point in 2011.

The Bills were 5-2 (finished 6-10) in 2011.

The Bills were 5-1 (finished 7-9) in 2008.

Just goes to show there is are examples on both extremes.  Past success/failure does not predict future outcomes.

Good. Hopefully when we are watching "America's Game: The 2023 Bills". They can talk about how this talk was the turning point that turned everything around.

This is being HIGHLY optimistic of course

But this team is nothing like those 2008 and 2011 teams so I wouldn't even worry about it

That is a unsettling indictment of Allen, Diggs, Davis and Morse.

Where are the killers?  Is it really Murray (and guys like Douglas and Joseph)?

Is it obvious that the coaching staff has lost the team, the players have no direction and feel it is up to them to right the ship?

This was obvious 2 years ago to most of us.

It predicts it, just doesn't guarantee it
