SectionC3 Posted November 8, 2023 Posted November 8, 2023 No. They need to enjoy themselves a little bit. Been around one guy who is wound too tight for long enough. Get back to having fun and cutting it loose. 1 Quote

Low Positive Posted November 8, 2023 Posted November 8, 2023 Harbaugh is a retread. Hire some hot offensive coach's OC or QB coach who has never called an NFL play and give them the HC job. That's how it's done in 2023. Quote

Negan Posted November 10, 2023 Posted November 10, 2023 Well now that Harbaugh is suspended for the rest of the regular season, this will give time for Terry to S can McDermott and hire Harbaugh. 1 2 Quote
McBean Posted November 10, 2023 Posted November 10, 2023 Terry needs to be on his plane now to Ann Arbor. Only 3 candidates should be in the running for this job and Harbaugh is #1. #2 Daboll #3 Ben Johnson 1 1 2 2 Quote

Harbaugh took a physically undermanned team with a great QB to great success in college. Then he took a great team with a mediocre QB to the SuperBowl( winning at Green Bay) and back to back NFC Championship games. He was one missed holding call from winning a SuperBowl and one miraculous INT away from going to a second. McD hasn't even sniffed that kind of success. No SuperBowl. No playoff road wins. No Championship wins. 1 1 1 Quote

Swapping one out for another once you are at the "ready to win" stage would be senseless. 3 Quote
chongli Posted November 10, 2023 Posted November 10, 2023 The whole discussion is moot. Beane/Pegula would never hire a known cheater. 1 1 1 Quote

Low Positive Posted November 10, 2023 Posted November 10, 2023 People are talking about this all wrong. Michigan is not accused of “sign stealing.” That is not illegal in the Big Ten. What is against the rules is in-person scouting of upcoming opponents. That is because a school like Michigan can afford that but a school like Maryland can’t. But all NFL teams (except the Bengals) have entire teams of pro scouts. Quote

Nobody beats Jim Harbaugh on that count. 1 Quote
Since1981 Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 (edited) Terry had his chance to match Daboll offer. He simply chose to stay with the familiar, spiritual, but wrong guy. Edited November 11, 2023 by Since1981 1 1 Quote
