Abortion is a mainstream issue, and large numbers of the population seem to feel that abortion on demand is the right choice. Finding some balance there was important, and that hasn’t happened. The far right offers no reasonable solution. If I’m understanding it correctly, the people of Ohio decided abortion into the 6th month of pregnancy represents the freedom people desire. Is that a reasonable solution? With notable exceptions, it’s grotesque imo…but mainstream. I have these moments in my life where I realize I was wrong thinking reasonable people could agree on certain issues. I always thought most reasonable people became ‘pro life’ on behalf of the child at some point. 10 weeks. 12 weeks. 14 weeks. I was wrong. 1 1
