Fezmid
Give me a break: http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/06/06/milk.terror/index.html Instead of fixing the problem, we'll hide it. That's call "security through obscurity" and anyone in IT knows that doesn't give you any security at all. This is no different than the argument about whether to publish information about how to break computer systems or whether companies should be notified privately. When the latter happens, fixes usually take months. When the former happens, they get fixed in days. The best part is how the government apparantly thinks that terrorists don't know how to do their own research to figure this out themselves... All in the name of security. *sigh* CW
ch19079
can we not fix the problem?? i know when most people think terrorists they think of some guy with a towel on his head hitting a cammel with a stick, but in reality some are (im guessing) are smart enough to research some of this stuff on their own. if we see our weaknesses, we can fix them. PTR 352745[/snapback] Quite true, and to once again take an opportunity to slam the press, they get much of their operational intelligence from folks like CNN, FOX, Washington Post and the NY Times. most anything you want to know is out there, if you're willing to look.
