Mostly because the roster is constructed EXACTLY how the coach wanted, and this is the result. All of this is BY DESIGN. And until that design changes, somehow, a team that has one of the most talented QBs ever, is completely hopeless

5-4 team, too many games without creating turnovers and the offense turning over the ball.

That's another thing that's designed, lack of turnovers, we play keep it in front of you on D, and not, go make a play

We need to trust in Dorian Williams and Kaiir Elam. We’ve seen them make turnovers, but they don’t do a good job keeping the ball in front of them. Do you live with the mistakes and take the playmaking ability tradeoff?

100 percent. Your QB can make up for it. But that's harder to do after long sustained drives

We’re tied for 4th in the league in creating turnovers this year and that’s with all those injuries. This place sometimes.

Dorian Williams has forced zero turnovers and Elam has stunk (and also forced zero turnovers) this season. No thanks.

We haven’t seen a pick in a while. Elam did pick Mahomes, no?

A lot of it is the roster.   why do u think they pay a billion dollars for over the hill stars?  because they havent been able to find thier own....    drafting in the first couple

rounds has killed this roster and made it harder to build than it should have been.

8 of the 14 turnovers against WSH and LV. So 6, in the other 6 games. Just like every year, good games against garbage teams trick people into thinking the D is good

Yeah last year, a year when which Elam actually played pretty well. He’s been booty this season though. Not even a single pass breakup on 150+ snaps.

What stars will you find If you're trying to build a DL rotation through the draft? They almost never took the best player, just a scheme fit, and when the scheme sucks, here we are

Agreed. It's coaching.

Harbaugh in Baltimore and Andy Reid built offenses to their QBs strengths...

We have a QB with unique skills, and we're trying to turn him into a safe, pocket passer and not run

im not saying im a fan of the rotation.   I dont think its showed enough merit for the most part to retain.   but...if there were elite players out there....they would show up.    take kinkaid...Offense i know but.. regardless of how limited his playtime is...u see it.  Look at bernard.   Not saying he is elite but his talent on the field still popped.

Allen is not a game manager. Our OL is not going to beat you up. Our receiving core does not win battles for the ball. Our D is boom or bust. Yet our coaches think we are going to wear you down and run out the clock.

It is the roster.

"32 year old, lost a step" Hyde and Poyer aren't keeping OCs awake.

Von Miller isn't keeping OCs awake.

James Cook isn't keeping DCs awake.

Gabe Davis...

...and the list of mediocre players goes on and on.

There are only two players on this team, Allen and Diggs, that prevent a slide into the drought years.   ...and Milano.

And one timeout for the opposing team, McDermott would run 3 times and trust his punter and D. Taylor immediately put the game in his best players hands and won. Taylor plays to win, McDermott plays not to lose. Fans and players deserve better

I was ok with the "we trust our defense" strategy when the defense was elite and playing bad competition.

I was reluctantly ok with the "we trust our defense" strategy when the defense was elite and playing good competition.

I am not ok with the "we trust our defense" mantra when the defense sucks and we're playing against good competition.

McDermott believes in building a dominant defense and trusting it. He has no F'ing idea what to do when that doesn't work.
