So when the Defense has been as bad as it has so far. Who goes over to give them a pep talk during the game? Or a change of tactics? McD is too busy. So who is responsible in game?

Honestly they just need to do the same thing they did with Miami and slow down receivers at the line.

 

It's really obvious I don't really understand why they pretty much never do it, especially when facing a team that specializes in defeating zone defense like Cincy

Seriously though, if we're going to have a defensive minded head coach shouldn't we expect elite defensive play calling? There are several DCs across the league that are better than McDermott. So what is the point of giving him the top job?

We are asking so much of this offense against this team. Score a TD on every drive or lose. It’s bull####. McDermotts thing is defense. How have you seen this team 3 ***** times and can’t even hold them to an occasional FG

those of you complaining about Von.   no he doesnt look fully back.  doesnt matter though,  with Burrow getting rid of the ball so fast none of the pass rushers are going to do anything.  rather have them all hang back and throw their hands up when the throws.
