Well I'm glad that part of Elam's mystery has been solved with the IR designation.  That actually gives me some hope that he might actually pan out.

He’s not contributing and wasn’t going to be any time soon. Meanwhile , the team needs reinforcements for the stretch run. So Kaiir goes to IR to make room for a player at a position of need. Great job of filling holes resulting from injury by BB.

Joseph was a high level player in his prime. No idea how much he has left at 35 but worth a punt because he has played at a level Phillips, Ford and Settle couldn't dream of reaching.

Well its a bit faint. The injury does not really explain Elam's lack of ball awareness or his propensity to be faked out of his shoes by receivers.  That part is still baffling to me.
