Unfortunately for us, I believe it was the opposite. I think McDaniels and co. had lost the owner’s confidence prior to the deadline. Which meant he didn’t want THEM making the call on making a trade, or selling a Davante Adams etc.
 

Davante will probably get moved eventually, but the old regime was not going to be the ones to do it. Which took him off the market.

There was one rumor about Jim Harbaugh.  That actually would be a pretty good idea.  He may be ego maniacal, but he’s a winner, and creates a winning culture.

That I could see he has the ego for Las Vegas and he goes way back to the start of his coaching career there I think he was quarterbacks coach there at one time.

If anyone hires this clown after this for a head coaching position they deserve everything they get. His broncos stint should have been enough, then the Colts debacle. Sorry Raiders but this is what you get. Hopefully nobody else makes the same mistake

I think that one problem that Josh McDaniels has is that he doesn’t fully commit to jobs because he always has one foot back in New England.
