An MRI confirmed the tear, the Vikings announced Monday afternoon. 

 

Looks like NFC North is a lot weaker now and Lions likely will likely have it wrapped up with a few more wins.

I coach cross country and have had a rough year with achilles injuries. 2 guys out. have never had any in my 12 previous years coaching. what gives? we are not running on artificial turf!

Seems like the QB position is a lot of team's "achilles heel."

Will be attached to the Vikings radio play by play team during his recuperation.  Will be terminated by the third broadcast for shouting "YOU LIKE THAT?!" during the games.

Such a likable dude. More than serviceable QB. Just sucks that these injuries are part of the game.
