Kaenon Posted October 31, 2023 Posted October 31, 2023 Gilmore was a DPOY, granted just not for us. Quote
tomdayfan Posted October 31, 2023 Posted October 31, 2023 Robert James was by far the Bills' best cornerback (and one of the best defensive players) ever. Who knows where he'd be on the list of all-time NFL greats if he hadn't suffered a terrible injury in a meaningless preseason game. 4 Quote
Matt_In_NH Posted October 31, 2023 Posted October 31, 2023 7 people said Gilmore. I assume that is for what he did in NE cause he was not very good for the bills. Quote

If he stayed healthy Bills could have picked a first round NT in 1990 instead of JD Williams. Just looking at the 1990 Draft, that was a terrible draft as a whole. Not many standouts. Quote

May Day 10 Posted October 31, 2023 Posted October 31, 2023 Nate Clements was sick. If we are going by celebrations and dancing, he would be #1 by a mile Quote

Hate to give Brady any credit, but he did pop up pretty quickly after getting absolutely trucked. Could you imagine how many flags would be on the field in today's game? Nate would be kicked out of the game, suspended for the next one, and fined $100K 1 Quote

MiracleAtRich1393 Posted October 31, 2023 Posted October 31, 2023 He's not on the list (and not the best) but in the spirit of Remembering Some Guys, I always like Thomas Smith. I was young but I remember him as a CB that couldn't catch but always seemed sticky on his man and a PBU machine. Middle school me could be totally off on him though haha 4 Quote
MJS Posted October 31, 2023 Posted October 31, 2023 Butch Byrd. He should be on the wall of fame. It's a travesty he isn't. 38 minutes ago, Matt_In_NH said: 7 people said Gilmore. Not a great ball athlete though. Quote
hondo in seattle Posted October 31, 2023 Posted October 31, 2023 Six people, so far, voted for McGee. As I recall, he had a knack for closely shadowing receivers only to let them catch the ball anyway. 1 Quote
GASabresIUFan Posted October 31, 2023 Posted October 31, 2023 Aren't Booker and James the only DB's on the Bills' Wall of Fame? Charlie Romes is the Bills career leader in GP (151) by a corner. McGee is 2nd (at 122) He is also 2nd among CB's with 28 Ints behind Byrd's 40. Odomes is 3rd with 26. If I were ranking them 1. Booker 2. Romes 3. Odomes 1 Quote

Kaenon Posted October 31, 2023 Posted October 31, 2023 Rasul Douglas of course. Has never allowed a TD or completed pass for the Bills yet. 1 Quote
