But I watched the Seahawks game against the Bengals two weeks ago, and the Seahawks were a few plays away from a win but Geno messed it up. They had the ball in the RZ twice late in the 4th, down only 4 points and couldn't punch it in. On one of those drives, Geno Smith took a BRUTAL sack instead of throwing the ball away. So, I just don't see how adding pass rush helps them win those close games where they need the offense to make a play.

Because that Cinci game isn’t every game.  He’s been solid.  He came through vs a great browns d yesterday.

This is the “confirmed trade thread” … but no doubt that each thread that happens will be discussed in a separate thread …

Can never have enough “ Beane is asleep” references …

They have Geno Smith at QB, they aren't winning anything even if they are currently the 2 seed in the NFC

Geno has some amazing talent around him! He has looked good in that O for over a year.

One trade? 🤪🤷🏽‍♂️

There are fewer and fewer each year. Most coaches and GMs get two years now at most.  So if they are 2-5 at the deadline they don’t think of themselves as sellers.  They are thinking they need to somehow get to 8 wins to save their job. They may be inclined to buy if they had any support from ownership.

Maybe I shouldn't have started this thread, haha. Let's hope for at least one more trade so the plural thread title "Trades" is applicable.

Have faith.

Mention Gabe Davis in a positive light or how some player won't come here because we don't have a dome and see what happens.

I heard Sam Martin rubbed up against someone inappropriately at the Bingo parlor.

Great pick up for the bears. They will for sure extend him. He’s a great player.

Seeing that they just gave up a pick more than likely in the top 12 of the 2nd round I imagine they have to extend him.

They can't miss two years in a row like this.
